Robertson Thib,Waterbury,Staley, Alessi,
Has anyone had any experience with elite fitness blast straps(new). With exercises such as chain suspended push ups, chinups and so on.
Are these any better than the power rings that were reviewed recently.

Ill just give you my opinion. If you can afford it, I would go with Daves straps. If he sells it, you can bet it is quality. I havent tried them out yet but everything else that my training partners and I get from Dave is top notch. They try the stuff out before they sell it. They know what an athlete needs unlike some other companies that sell cheap rip offs that I wont mention. Anyways, right now we just use chains and those sute little handles that everyone else uses for cable crossovers. We suspend them from a Smith Machine. Can you imagine that, a Smith Machine is actually useful for something. I got the idea from Jim Wendler a couple of years ago. It works fine for us. To tell you the truth, Im probably gonna get the straps in a couple of weeks just so I dont have to take the chains to the other side of the gym and I can take them with me.
Just my opinion.
I have done chain push-ups and they didn’t do much for me. Once you get the motion down, which does not take long (two workouts)they are pretty easy. I would much rather do weighted push-ups with feet inclined.
We do the chain push ups with weight and our feet inclined. We have 5/8" chain that weighs about 20lbs. a piece. We just lay those across our upper back. Also keep your arms straight and do something like arm circles. Then when your done, get down and do some fat boy pullups with the suspended chains.
I have the Blaster Straps from Elite Fitness Systems…They are awesome. Adjustable, they will attach to any rack, smith machine, hooks on the ceiling, etc… And yes, Dave knows quality-strong and sturdy. They are very affordable also…about 60.00 bucks…As a trainer they are great because of the portability…better than lugging around chains and handles. As for effectiveness, I enjoy using them as do my clients, they just look damn professional. Elevate feet, use chains draped around waist and shoulders…awesome hypertrophy movement after your ME work.
Buy the straps from Dave they are awesome. I have been using them over the last week or so.
If the movement gets easy for you, you just adjust the starps or put your feet up on a bench and the exercise gets very hard.
Get the blast straps they are well worth the money.

Jackass,
What exercises have you been using the straps for and when in your routine?
I just like to hear other peoples methods.
Thanks.
how are they for chinups Zeb said the pushups got pretty easy I’m sure the chins must be hard.Has anyone done the flyes or front lever with them.
If you have the money to buy these you might as well get a set of power rings.
