Hey, thanks.
That’s a lot of volume in your workout. Nicely done.
It is? Seems like barely enough.

Worked really hard.
So it’s been about a year since I got back to the gym and started in again. One year, I’ve gained about 2 lbs bodyweight, maybe 3. Strength level still not up to where it was 10 years ago. Just not going fast enough.
I’m always impressed with the amount of work you do.
If you’re gaining any bodyweight from muscle at our age that in itself is an accomplishment. Correct me if I’m wrong but you’re around the same age as me. You’re comparing what you can do now to what you could do 10 years ago? Big differences in the 50’s and 60’s.
Um, 10 years ago I was barely gaining at all. In fact, I started lifting weight at 18 and couldn’t make any noticeable gains for years. Took about 10 years before I could bench 95 lbs and another 10 before I could do 115. Age doesn’t make any difference.
Yes, we’re about the same age Harry, but if you’re saying we have the same bodies, well, you’re posting twice the weights I can lift so clearly gains came much faster for you. After 45 years I’d like to think I don’t have to keep going for another 45 before getting any real progress.

Not comparing anything and don’t know why you’d think I’m saying we’ve got the same bodies. Point was it’s very hard in your 60’s, which I think we both are, to add muscle and to lift what you did in your 50’s. I can’t and don’t know of many who can.

If I do incline bench first, can use extra weight, the incline seems just work upper pecs, but regular bench wears out everything
