I haven’t made the switch to micellar casein as my pm protein supplement yet. Before I do, I just want to know is there anything I can do to my whey suppl to make it a good pm choice. Maybe add flaxseed oil or fiber to the mix, to delay the digestion enough to make it a good pm choice?

Adding fats would slow the digestion but you would still be better off IMO to use a micellar casein protein.
You say “yet.” I would suggest, if you plan on using a powder as your nighttime protein, making the switch now. I mean, if you’re concerned enough about it to ask, why not do what it takes? Just order some casein, or a casein blend, and take the guesswork out of the equation.
Otherwise, mixing the whey with cottage cheese and chasing it with a good dose of fish oil (good fats) will help to slow absorption.
