Cardio vs. Muscle Weight Gain

Hey everyone, i was wondering if you guys could help me clarify the impact high intensity cardio has on building muscle.

Ive been training for strength and size for the past few years using mainly Chad Waterbury programs. Recently ive started the superhero progam. The thing is, i play indoor football (soccer) twice a week for an hour and was wondering does this significantly hinder my ability to gain weight?

If nessacery i will stop playing for a couple of months to ensure i get the results i desire. But if its not really an issue i’ll carry on playing.

Please help me out on this guys.

Just twice a week for an hour? You’ll be fine. Just eat more on those days to compensate and don’t try to lift for legs after you play soccer.

I’m swimming 2 hours for 3 days a week, 3 hours for 2 days a week, and usually I have a meet on Saturday and I’m still gaining weight.

Food is your friend.
