Are you meaning to tell me that none of his trainees had managed to do this? I’m just asking for a number here dude.
You mean that Dr. Darden’s trainees need to be Mr. Olympia winners to validate Dr. Darden’s muscle building diet and exercise program?
Nope: I’m asking a question that should have a numerical answer, rather than short essay.
I think you misinterpreted Dr. Darden’s response. It would take a heaping spoonful of hubris to presume an Olympia winner would have done better with different methods than what got him there.
My understanding is that a spoonful of sugar helps.
And is very carb rich.
I’m not going back to find it but didn’t the doc himself state he would have reached his potential more efficiently or quicker had he consumed carbs?
Almost positive he said something like that.
Edit: I was right but should have kept scrolling. Someone already beat me to it

I think I know exactly what he was saying.
To your second point, Arthur Jones had a saying “Nothing fails like success!”
I honestly don’t think you do. reaching genetic potential more efficiently is not the same as had not reached his genetic potential.
You are now conflating what Darden said with what you wanted him to say.
This concept is seemingly lost on you. Why would you continue bringing up a losing argument and logical fallacies?
Obi-wan demonstrated how it all works. These are not the macros you seek.
Seeing avoidance here myself. I’m certainly not going to critique anybody that looks better than I let alone somebody at Frank Zane’s level. I’d be curious to see the physique of the OP.
Genetics and steroids. Genetics and steroids. Stop worshipping these people. They are not as smart as you think.
I feel I could say the same to you about certain others…
How does being smart come into play in this context?
Like whom?
I was having a nice afternoon, why did I come here?
For the record, I just ate some wheat thins and will therefore easily surpass Brock Lesnar’s gainz.
This is obviously the case. The 1987 book literally says so in it’s prologue
At one time I fell into this camp. I wanted to be the next Ferrigno without drugs… ahh naïveté
Does it include that silly sword tattoo on his abdomen too?
It is but a foil. If he’d eat some carbs, it could become Excalibur!
Some of this yes and a f-ton of hard work and discipline.
They could be an idiot savant for all I care. All we really know about their intelligence is one thing… they sure know their own body and how to shape it.
