You wouldn’t consider this one also?

nope. Generally speaking i despise yellow cars, especially when it’s a sports car. Granted that RS4 i posted will do 178mph, and can have 500hp with the right gas/tune; seeing as it’s a wagon, that eliminates the douche/attention whore qualities of being yellow.

The only 2 colors for sports cars are black and red.* And you should never get red. That said, I’d take an RS4–wagon or sedan–in pretty much any color.

 • Silver on a Porshe is the one possible exception.

Everybody respects that and you often experience cars wheezing through at 120 mph and the cops do not go after you for it as long as you do not abuse it.
Not quite sure where you heard that but the Police probably wont bother you under 80 mph, can happen but its unlikely, anything over that and your getting stopped, points on the licence and £60 fine. You get caught doing 120 and that’s licence losing speed and pretty sure there isnt a police car in the land that wont pull you over for it.

Oh and no one respects the outside lane is only for overtaking, People drive like fucking morons over here, Yesterday I passed a guy in the middle lane of the motorway 60MPH, with a clear lane inside, with his Ipad behind the steering wheel blocking all his instruments checking his fucking facebook page.

I went to find pictures of the New Lancia Stratos, which had seemed an absolutely excellent car. They actually, it seemed to me, greatly improved on the Ferrari 430 which was its starting point, but constructed really into a new car by Pininfarina, according to the design of the German enthusiast who had styled it. It also represented a very large weight saving, as it weighs only 1247 kg dry.

And I was interested to see what was coming of the planned production run.

It turned out though that Ferrari had pulled a bitch move (in my interpretation anyway) and issued orders to Pininfarina preventing them from building any further examples of the car. And it is apparently infeasible to start again from scratch elsewhere. So there will be no more of these.
Ferrari has a long history of bitch moves. From everything thing I have ever read, Enzo Ferrari was a complete dick, but it’s about the cars and they made some spectacular cars…
Hey if it were not for Ferrari pulling bitch moves, then we would have no Lamborghini and that would be a shame.

Yes, but I would take off all the silly stickers. I like yellow. Black is pretty, but it’s hell to maintain. Silver is a color I so not like much, but I will take a cool car in silver for the right price, it’s not a show stopper. Brown, is my least favorite car color. It’s hard to make a car look cool in brown.

I love red. Red corvette, Red Porsche, red GT 500, Red M roadster, red Ferrari, Red Lamborghini… They all work form me.

I agree with you, but red is a po-po magnet. That’s why I stick with black.

I’ve got a buddy with a flat-grey Lotus. (Think stealth aircraft – grey that’s almost black.) Pretty bad ass.

I tried to fit in it and my knees were above the steering wheel.

This seems fitting in a car love thread.

I got this from driving regularly for work on the highway.
A 60 GBP is far better fine than 191 GBP at today’s exchange rate.

I regularly went through patches of 85 to 90 without a care in the world because my personal experience there was that there were no cop cars waiting in a trap to “catch” you speeding.

Some cops here will get you for going 71 - that is what I was comparing with primarily.

In England I even had a highway officer tell me to be careful because people drove like crazy and it was obviously not a police priority to track down on people who went up to 120 mph MOMENTARILY when overtaking.
I had a lot of fast cars overtake me and shake my car and did not see any cops after them of see them stopped to get a ticket.

I never meant to say one drives for long stretches at 120 mph ( I would have to be able to be doing the same thing to observe this! ) but I have experience people do it on the overtaking lane.

This was three and a half years ago and at least during my working shift I observed people did respect the outside lane as an overtaking lane and I had never seen anyone on their phones in the way I see here.

Perhaps things have changed since no body seems to be able to live without checking their facebook.
And the guy you were talking about was not on the outside lane - which was precisely my point: the outside lane was still free for you to overtake him.

My friend in London does tell me that things have changed a lot for the worse in England.

But as Maximus already stated in another post, yes one could get up to high speeds ( not maintain it ) in Europe and not be seen as a $300 ticket for the police department to meet their revenue.

Fair enough.

I think the only color I would not be able to buy a sport’s car would be white.

That is a modified 928.

I really like what they did with the back.
It would come to 5000 euros to change that.

We saw a 928 being sold in California for $7000 ( and I think it was brown! Will try to find it for you again )

I think it is doable.

I was thinking about Lotus ( I prefer its looks over the Porsche ) a couple of days ago.

This is the Lotus Exige.

It is a racing car only if I am not mistaken.

My first car, project, and restoration…Sold it about 8 years ago. Still regret it…

( 1969 Mustang Sportsroof…or “fastback” for the uninitiated :stuck_out_tongue: )

No, that’s what he has, Exige Supercharged. It’s very, very small. I couldn’t get in the passenger seat, let alone the driver’s seat.

I can semi-comfortably drive a 911 — at just shy of 7 feet, it’s the only sports car I can kind of fit in.

Pretty much stick to trucks.

You should be crying…this is the most beautiful Mustang I have ever seen!

How much did you sell it for?

By the way, saw your pictures on the Feb thread: Amazing progress, congratulations!
Your avatar work is fantastic also.

Welcome out of lurking!

I read this web page last night that this car was built for one owner only for racing in Asia.

But today I saw other pages saying it was in regular production so I was confused.

I am sure there is a ridiculously expensive Benz that only Arab money can buy and it is driven only in Dubai that would fit you.

911 is for boys - the men drive 928s…

I kid I kid

Haha, with curves and lines like that “She” is always photographed well, but I can assure she was a “10-footer.” I can’t even remember what I sold her for but I made nice little profit since the vehicle was solid and mostly rust-free from the get-go and only needed to be freshened-up and painted. Nonetheless, It burns every time I find an old pic of that car. And thanks for the welcome! Had I known hot women would compliment my body, car, and avatar work, I probably would’ve come out of hiding a bit sooner! Thanks Alpha! (I would wink but I always feel like a big puss if send more than 5 “lols” or “happy faces” a day…)

Hopping in here, just got my first porsche last weekend. Looks black in the pic but it is midnight blue metallic. And it looks super wimpy next to my old man’s 911 carrera S but at 26 its not a bad starter porsche.
