You should try taking a nap in the day if you can. There were times I got 6 hours of sleep and a nap in the day and I was getting along fine.

From your example it doesn’t sound like you’re waking up because you have to pee. Go to bed earlier. If that’s not an option, try darkening your room or wearing a mask. Of course you then might have problems waking up…
why does it not sound like a problem with me having to pee? last night i went to sleep at 1 and woke up at 4 and 8 to piss and never got back to sleep. very annoying lol.
maybe i’ll try that ZMA, why would that help though?
oh and i have been tested for diabetes i think around a year ago and they didnt find any problems[/quote]
If you’re waking up at 4 - nevermind! I guess I’d try drinking less earlier in the day - not just at your last meal. You could also try playing around with your electrolyte levels.
Epsom salt bath.
400g in the hottest water you can manage.

not sure about the electrolytes thing.
water i did have a little more last night in my last meal than normal but in general i dont have much at night. i want to stay hydrated though…maybe i’ll just drink a ton in the morning
I found that taking GABA has helped quite allot with my sleeping problems, I down two at 10pm every night and I am out by 11pm and I rarely wake up before 7am.
I would also say cut back on drinking so much water right before you go to bed, in the last 2 hours you are awake just sip, you don’t need to down a 1L bottle before you sleep.
i usually only take sips about 2 hours before but it doesnt seem to help much. i’ll try to limit it earlier i guess.
todays a half carb up day for me and its always worse the more carbs i take in ![]()
melatonin puts me in such a deep sleep i wake up groggy in the morning. if ur drinking a pre-bedtime shake take it an hour or so before, wait to piss and then hit the hay right away see how that works out. also u might wanna just consider the possibilty of having a small bladder…

Sleeping 7.5 hours isn’t that bad. Drink most of your liquids in the morning, through early evening. The few hours of not drinking anything won’t make a difference in hydration.
Melatonin works for some, but not all. The other sleep supplements work well for may people, also.
The fact that you’re eating less carbs can affect your sleep. If I don’t eat enough, I usually have problems sleeping.
I work nights and when i get off I take 2 3mg tablets of melatonin and i love it but it’s only 3 days a week. Before i started melatonin I was only probably sleeping 4-5 hours a day on the days I had to work. I’m also thinking of trying ZMA, supposedly it works well with melatonin?? Any truth to it?
Magnesium.
Simple and cheap.
get Z-12 off here if you can afford it. i used it and it’s extremely effective and leaves you rested even of you don’t sleep a whole 8 hours.
I took it when I knew I wasn’t gonna get a solid 8 or when I needed to fall asleep out of my usual body clock frame.
If that doesn’t work then just pop 2 HOT-ROX Extreme and see how you fare.
