You’ve been squatting for 2 weeks. Lift and eat for a few years

Yeah the other responses are irrelivent. Unless you want to send in a video to check your form, just squat more often, lower reps and eat more… for a few years.
I don’t think the other responses are irrelevant at all. There definitely needs to be more information given. For example…the age and body weight of the OP. If the dude is 14 and 120 pounds then it could very well be a matter of simply getting stronger. If he’s anywhere over 145 lbs. then it almost HAS TO BE a form and mental issue.
Just walking around and using your legs should give you a close to bodyweight squat (assuming form is at least OK) with very little training. 115 is a tiny weight for squats, and something that he should have blasted right by after his first week, if only from being a bit more comfortable with it.
A great way to break a “plateau” is to just man up and do it. In this case, put the 135 on the bar, sit it a bit lower on your shoulders, widen your stance a touch and bang it out. If you can do 4 sets of 8-13 reps with 115 it really boils down to being afraid of the higher weight, as you are without question strong enough to do 135 for 4-8 reps.
Do you really think that your lift will increase that much if you have only been doing it for 2 weeks? Try sticking with the back squat for a longer time. I promise your max will go up. ( If you sleep and eat right)
