Can I Take Too Much L-Arginine?

I have been supplementing with it for a while, started taking more in the last few weeks. Was taking 3 1800mg capsules a day.

Now I am taking 6 on non-lifting days and 11 on lifting days ( regular 6 plus 5 before lifting.)

I just calculated that tonight and saw that on regular days about 10 grams and workout days it amounts to almost 20 grams . . .

Do I have anything to worry about, health-wise?

Or am I wasting my money by taking soo much?

How much do you take?

I bought powder L-ARginine and it tastes god awful so I don’t take it often. But more then 15 grams at once I get diarrhea.

Blood vessel health and for the Nitric Oxide boost.

I tried some of the commercial Nitric Oxide boosters like BSN NO-Xplode, but had some reactions to the other ingredients.

Another board I read said you could get nearly the same results with L-arginine and caffeine an hour before lifting. This seems to be true.

After I posted I GOOGLED! (should have done that before!)

3-5 grams should be enough to pump you up for a few hours. Anymore, will make you feel like crap (cramping, bloating, nausea).

Just slowly bump up doses till you react, then take that.

A buddy of mine pops arginine pills like candy as he’s convinced that it will make his crank bigger. He isn’t dead yet so I’d say you are pretty safe.
