Camaro Vs Mustang

Uh, good for me.

I don’t see the downside here. Ford made a great car with the 2011. If there was ever a time to get a well made Mustang, now would be it aside from maybe 1967.

Ford didn’t take bailout money to my knowledge so again, that holds no weight here.

You’re good right up to (and including) 1970. 71-73 were too big for their own good and of course 1974 was the worst fucking abomination, jack-off, pile-of-shit bucket of puke ever to come out of Detroit. From then until 2005 it was only mildly better.

1964 1/2 - 1970, 2010+, or NOTHING! lol.

Ford did not take bailout money (GM + Chrysler)

FUCK YOU 1974-1978 Mustang! The weak, castrated, man-purse of muscle cars.

I’ve owned both, and let me tell you, the camaro and the cuda are my favorite muscle cars. If I were you I’d go with the camaro tho. Less people have a camaro than a mustang. I regreted buying my new mustang cause too many people had one…even tho my trim is less common. If you want a mustang, buy a ridiculously uncommon trim…Roush, Steeda, Cervini all offer trims for the mustang. Thatway your car can stand out.

Otherwise, A nicely tuned Camaro is probably a safer bet if you want something that not “Everyone” has yet.

Also, Richard Petty just introduced his trim line for the new challengers…I love that car too…just saying…you have options.

had to jump in this…i have a 2010 camaro…buddy has a 2011 mustang gt…im 5’7 - 285 and the mustang is just to small…feel’s like a chic car. The only real bad thing about the camaro are the windows and def some blind spots…me and my girl both liked the camaro better after driving in them…once you get used to slightly limited vision - its a great car…

I have a gps but onstar is so much better…we like to take road trips and it’s pretty cool to just call them up and find something without having to look online yourself…very helpful…heated seats are cool…plus opened up both on the road and it say’s the mustang is faster but i don’t see how…the camaro seems so much quicker…plus not that many on road and you do see mustangs everywhere - at least here in midwest

Thanks for chiming in, all this Rustang love was making me uncomfortable.

The Rustang might be quicker in the 1/4 mi. but the Camero actually looks good while doing it.

Also Onstar just released their mobile app so you can unlock, lock, start, and do all kinds of other stuff to your car from the palm of your hand. Sync can’t and for the foreseeable future won’t be able to do that.

BUY THE CAMARO You’ll thank yourself later when you see the trillions of mustangs out on the road. Don’t do what I did! (although i like the look of mine)

The thing is, while I may see a lot of “mustangs” on the road, I see very FEW made after 2005. I rarely even see any 2010’s (I’ve seen one at the gym and it looked sick). This recession means most people haven’t been buying brand new cars and the 2010 and 2011 mustangs are a different animal.

I do agree that inside of the car isn’t made for big guys, but neither is the Camaro. I have driven both and they have about the same amount of room for my upper body.

I mean, let’s face it, any car is going to be like that to me unless I get another SUV and I don’t want another.

The negatives I noticed about the Camaro:
Limited vision around the car.

Poor interior design compared to the mustang.

having to step UP and over to get out of the car because you actually step down into it.

As far as “gadgets” the Camaro wins with On star and holograms…but the Stang looks cooler on the inside for the 2011 and Sync means I can find my car the same as On star…which, along with GPS, would be only reason for even needing On Star.

Ok X…it seems you’ve settled on the mustang…but lets get serious with this…I AM a car guy and don’t want to see you go down the wrong path…lol

Lets talk TRIM. What trim are you going to get? Trust me…you never see a car as much until you buy one…then you notice shit all over the place. If your area is vacant at best with the new 10-11 toys…so be it. But what TRIM??? IT MUST STAND OUT!!!

I love all cars BTW…just throwin in that disclaimer… Had a 97 anniversary camaro and an 08 mustang

Wet your mustang palet with this: www.cervinis.com listen to the audios

And no offense, but what type of driver are you? Can you handle a car with over 400 hp? From my experience…A 400 hp car is my max…until I become a better driver, but what you have to really ask yourself is can you really handle all that power?

I’ve been in the point of no return…It happens to even racecar drivers…spinning and spinning until the car does its own thing to stop…You have to be really carefull with ego…when purchasing musclecars/sports cars.

Do you live in a state that has a winter season? Snow and salt will screw up your ride…theres alot that comes into play.

I just pm’d you my plans for it.

Let me know if that will stand out enough.

I don’t want that public right now.

Dude…I ride a Honda CBR 1000.

I seriously doubt there are too many people who can ride one of these for half a decade and not be able to handle a car.

Ok…lol fair enough

For that vid you sent me, those blacked out back lights look cool as hell.

I’m telling you man, the shit is endless. Oh the possibilities

Old school rear window louvers are really a nice touch too…they’re not that expensive…usually 600-800 dollars…I mean down the road…You don’t have to do everything outright.

Awww, c’mon now, I thought we were talkin’ cars here.

I think at minimum, you’re going to have to have a custom cut stainless steel (or blackened steel) “X” front and center on the grill, maybe on the rear.

LOL^ that could work
