The basic exercises for calves are standing calf raises and seated calf raises. I’d do both. I don’t know what kind of equipment you have available to you though.

Then, on they day you train calves, I’d make sure you do both standing and seated calf raises. If you have a donkey calf raise machine, then I’d add those from time to time as well or on occasion do them in place of standing calf raises. Generally you always want to do at least one calf movement with your legs straight and one with your legs bent to hit both areas of the calves.

Man you gotta make some effort. That is lifting 101. Open a book or almost any article on this site and many others and you can find exercises for each bodypart.

i jus had a bit of time looking for compound excercises. lots of the workout i have found were because of lookin on the net. i have found a few that were compound but most isolated for abs and calves so i wanted to know what ppl use so that i might have some idea of what would be good way to work em.
