I just read the Roundtable on Fats in this issue’s T-mag and decided that like many of us, I don’t get enough omega-3. My question is, what is the caloric content of a tablespoon of Flax oil?
130
Should be around 130
14 x 9
=124 calories per tablespoon…
Remember, all fats have the same caloric content per gram, no matter the source. Each gram of fat has 9 calories. And 1 TBSP of any fat (oil) has about 14 grams of fat.
Thanks for the information guys.
