Olive Oil

I’ve always been curious as to why the label on my olive oil says… 2 teaspoons = 183 calories, but yet there’s only 9.2grams of fat, 0 carbs, 0 protein. Now i’m thinking if each gram of fat is worth 9 calories it would be 82.8 calories. I don’t see where the extra calories are coming from…

Every bottle of olive oil i have ever had 14 gm of fat and 130 cals. Make sure you are using extra virgin. I have truly grown to love olive oil.

Yah man i’m using Extra Virgin, I don’t get where they get these extra calories from.

oh and yah i love olive oil as well! i’d have it hooked to my veins if I could :expressionless:
hehe
Anyways im gonna use the 120 cal/13.5g fat nutritional info instead for 1 tablespoon
