How fucking annoying are they? Rough hands. Especially when you’ve got some female round
Sand bro. Its like walking around on a beach for a while gets it off your feet.
Soak your hands in hot water, then use a DULL knife to peel off most of the skin. Only take off dead skin (you’ll notice if the skin isn’t dead because it hurts if it isn’t).
This will make the hands less rough and more female-friendly. The area will still be kind of hard if you press down on it, but not much else. Other than that, your only option is to use gloves.
Callouses build character.
Gloves are the devil.
I agree they are a real pain in the arse i remember mine got really bad after i started doing weighted chins and deadlifting again. Females will certainly not be amused when you start
scraping half their face away
they’re worth it…I had been using gloves for a long time, and while I didn’t have callouses, I had pretty crappy grip strength. I finally decided to ditch them and my grip strength has shot up.
And yes, callouses do build character, and gloves are indeed the devil.
I’d like to figure out how to keep mine on… fuckin deadlifting.
Use chalk.
Your hands will still be hard but you won’t develop the nasty cracky hard hands.
Men’s hands are supposed to be hard but it doesn’t mean they should be so bad your partner doesn’t want you pawing at her.
I always take nail clippers and cut them off. It’s actually pretty fun taking off huge amounts of skin haha.
They are a badge earned from hard work. Wear them with honor. Gloves and straps are for women.

Well, this girl for one uses neither. I have callouses and have earned them all!
Find a woman who appreciates a man who puts out hard work. Even when I wore gloves I would get them due to the extreme weight and folding of skin. I have callouses that cover my fingers up to my first nuckles and down my palm about half-way.
As far as advice: If my skin gets generally dry the callouses seem very rough and scratchy. If this happens, or if you want to be female-friendly, just apply lotion. Sure you’ll still have callouses but they will be softer and more pliable. They won’t scratch or feel uncomfortable to her. My girlfriend doesn’t like the scratchy, dry-skin version, but she does like the fact that I have callouses when they’re a little moistened. Keeps my hands manly and rugged, yet non-scratchy. Just use lotion and all will be happy. However don’t use lotion before lifting as this will make the callouses more prone to coming off.

I concur. I’ve gotten complaints before, and have found that said complaints are lesser when you use a pumice stone.
I’m one of the lucky ones in that the last few girls I’ve been with have actually LIKED my hands. Kinda weird, but I’m sure as hell not complaining.
Toughen up. If she doesn’t appreciate you for your badges of honour, you might be better off without her.
Nice idea james cain. Fuck gloves. Good night
Having be a gymnast in the past, and a really terrible one at that, I learned that soaking them in warm water and then using a single edge razor work very well. Follow up with a pumice stone and you won’t tear another one off deadlifting or pulling o lifts.

Calluses are a badge of honour, earned with sweat and blood.
And if you use some lotion, over time they will not be scratchy. And you will have nicer skin too.
