I think the issue ith U25 is not a lack of motivations, so much as a desire for constant approval.
I.e. 18 year old, 5’10" 145 lbs guys posting pictures of them flexing their abs in the mirror and saying “i know i look small, but im working on it.”
If the motivation is there, then they’ll get bigger eventually. But no one needs (or wants) to see some tiny kids posting pics of themselves in the meantime.
Also, as a U25 myself, i find that alot of us dont have the money, resources or time to eat and supplement optimally. So we stay bigger than the rest of our scrawny friends, but still fairly small.
Once you get the right nutrition and training, and make some gains, then you can post a picture of your scrawny body. Just make sure it says “before” and has a another picture next to it with significant improvement (and i dont mean 5 lbs of muscle. I mean SIGNIFICANT)
FightorFlight that’s some nice stats there.
Way to grow brotha!

theres my log. i dont care to have pics, as looking jacked isnt my focus, strength is. prob get some vids up when i get to a level where people start to call bullshit.
if you aren’t at that level now…
WHY THE FUCK IN GODS NAME DO YOU THINK WE GIVE A SHIT?
dude so you go tothe gym and lift weights. DO YOU WANTA FUCKING COOKIE?
i’m here to meet and talk to people who are fucking big and strong. do you think i give a shit if you bench press 200lbs? no. of course not. why do you come to a site that claims ‘the relentless pursuit of muscle’ and then wanna wag your pencil dick around?
i swear, some of you guys on here are just fucking inept. it really blows my mind sometimes.[/quote]
i can bench 340lb currently, squat somewhere over 405lbs, dead 520lb+. “somewhere over” because i did 405lb pretty easily recently, and “520lb+” because i pulled that a couple months ago and my training is consistent.
that being said, i dont think those numbers are astounding, hence why i dont yet feel the need to back that up with vids.
i am training hard to get strong and big (in that order) and i am 24, i thought that’s what this thread was about. im sorry if i missed the part where it said i must already be both in order to participate in this thread. i also apologize for offending your delicate sensibilities.

it’s alright. i didn’t get enough attention at home so i try to make up for it here.
the problem is everyone “our” age comes on here and totes all these great claims about how their swole ass beat up some dude in a club, or how they rep 405 on bench or w/e blah blah blah.
and then they come up with the most rediculous reasons to not post pictures and/or videos.
i feel if u’re going to be part of a internet community that is in search of gaining muscle/strength, pics and vids are part of the deal.
just simply chiming in and saying ‘oh hey, i lift weights, look at me’ puts you in the category with the rest of the schmucks that are looking for some kind of awkward e-acceptance from the dudes that have actually put time and effort in.
anyways, good lifts. hope to see you around here more
well, again, other than not having pics i felt like i was complying with the rest of the requirements for the thread.
my reason for no vids is that i train alone, and more importantly, dont own a camera. im closing in on some short term goals, and i will drag a friend with a camera to the gym and get vids. then someone will have to talk me through posting them, but theyll be here.
on an unrelated note, HolyMac- happy veteran’s day. thanks for all that you do.

but that’s the whole point man. i don’t want to sit here all day and read stuff from a guy who can’t prove that he himself can walk the walk and add some muscle and get stronger. anyone can go and copy/paste some sweet info and spew it on here. there’s maybe 7 guys in our age range on here who actually look impressive in something larger than a L tshirt. having pics is just an easy way of cutting through all the bullshitters. i’m not even talking about a pic of you in u’re sweet underoos all oiled up. just seeing that a dude actually looks like he lifts adds that much more credit to his post.
thanks brah. go army, beat navy
Last time i posted an old pic of myself, i received a whole bunch of BS comments, including a "post another picture while holding a sign saying Manana/akuma on it. Lol i mean wtf. I plan on posting pics after i finish my bulking phase, but im just not ready. But hell, Ill be glad to give anyone my Facebook profile, though im about 50lbs heavier now than any of those photos.

20 years old…
benched 405 today, deadlifted 586 a few days ago, squat is low-mid 400s…
4/5/6 club would be stellar before turning 21…just need to get that squat up.

Hell ya bro!
I would like to hit 4/5/6 club by 21, just gotta get the bench there!
With my luck, I’ll be hitting 405 incline before I hit flat.
