Calling Out the <25 Age Crowd

My bad, didn’t know it was your mom. Btw is there an injury holding your dead lift back?

Lol i couldnt care less if people on a website dont believe me because i dont “back up my stats.” Lol can just kiss my grits

If you didn’t care then you wouldn’t post them…

Not necessarily there, Freud. I was simply supporting the cause. Fact is there are a lot of <25 out there that are attempting to better themselves in the gym, and a lot them are lost without websites like this. And honestly you can feel overwhelmed in the beginning, especially if you’re alone, if you dont see results, the whole time factor, etc. Its a burden.

Other youngins should know they can change things, better themselves. Id like to believe im a pretty good example of a previously out of shape, know it all little prick that has turned around and became what i am. YOU need to quit being so fucking condescending in everything you write. EVERY post i see from you is calling BS on something. Take it or leave it, but either way, quit being such a pretentious ass.

I didn’t post in this originally, or make a log, but I’ll throw in my numbers from my own written log I keep (granted I had just cut down for the summer, and now I’m bulked back up a little, but my lifts then were close to my highest ever). I turned 24 in Sept.

6/1/09: 178lb

Squat: 1x245
Dead: 1x415
Bench: 1x235
Total: 895

11/10/09: 185lbs

Squat: 1x335
Dead: 1x465
Bench: 1x265
Total: 1065

Not bad at all for less than 6 months work, IMO.

Gutted I’m only finding this thread now! Will hold my hand up and put some numbers up; only recently started lifting heavy again as I’ve cut back on the amount of rugby I’m playing. Will work on getting some videos or pics up asap!

10/11/09 :
Age: 22
Height: 6’
Weight: 255 lbs/118kgs

Lifts have to be in kilos unfortunately, don’t want to work it out wrong…

Squat: 220kgs
Deadlift: 235kgs(This was a while ago-recently I managed 5x5 with 200kgs so will attempt a new 1RM soon)
Bench: 165kgs

Total: 620kgs (I think a rough conversion of that is about 1360 lbs? Correct me if I’m way off)

Thanks bro.

Alright, that’s me DLing at a PLing meet this last weekend. It’s 220kg and I’ve done 230kg(505lb) on a separate occasion. I’ve also squatted 200kg recently and brought my OHP up from 50kg10 to 85kg5. It’s not a video, but it’s all I have.

the problem with the <25 yr old crowd is the majority of them/us ARE filled with bullshit.

Exactly, excuse me for asking for some proof when guys, yourself included akuma claim 500 pound raw bench presses with stats that would put you in the record books. I’ve never seen anyone in person bench 500 pounds raw, I’ve seen a few guys rep out 405 who could definetly bench 500, but they’re much bigger than anyone here. Even 405 i’m skeptical about looking at everyones pics. You don’t bench press these kind of weights without some serious muscle/density.

And like I’ve said, I don’t claim to be some God of the weights so your, “pretentious ass,” comment is completely false, I also back my numbers with videos. I just have been in the gym long enough and have enough common sense to know bullshit when I see it. Whatever makes you guys happy though, get some e-handjobs or something.

Lol ya i know, but honestly, thats their problem. If they find they have to lie on a website to make people think they are stronger/bigger/etc than they actually are, then i feel sorry for them. Mine as well let their ego find some form of peace lol.

I dont see how my stats would “put me in the record books,” My lifts are good, but they aren’t great, i have plenty of room to grow. nor did i say that 500lb bench was raw, I was being spotted and i was in a smith cage.

I was a bit annoyed this morning when i first posted that, so i might’ve spoken a bit too harshly and i apologize about that, but i stand by the general message of my statement. If people lie about their lifts, well im sorry for them for finding the need to lie, that’s just who i am though. People not believing what i do because i chose to not throw up pictures of myself doing it does not affect my workout in the slightest.

Well this could be fun. Wonder whats to come of this.

Any way i think that there are tons of people who lift but i do agree i dont see tons of people our age wanting to get big. Every one wants to look like ryan rynolds. Dude looks good but its all about the tone and i just dont agree.

theres my log. i dont care to have pics, as looking jacked isnt my focus, strength is. prob get some vids up when i get to a level where people start to call bullshit.

if you aren’t at that level now…

WHY THE FUCK IN GODS NAME DO YOU THINK WE GIVE A SHIT?

dude so you go tothe gym and lift weights. DO YOU WANTA FUCKING COOKIE?

i’m here to meet and talk to people who are fucking big and strong. do you think i give a shit if you bench press 200lbs? no. of course not. why do you come to a site that claims ‘the relentless pursuit of muscle’ and then wanna wag your pencil dick around?

i swear, some of you guys on here are just fucking inept. it really blows my mind sometimes.

…flavor?

Yeah some peoples children, really? Guys come on. We really need to be superhuman not average. Tell us something we care about not something that most people can do. 200 is good for a average guy or maybe slightly above average. I dont mean to rag on some lifters but this thread is for those people to come forword who really care about power and are serious about lifting. POWER and HYPERTROPHY!

well im 22. 5’11 255. give or take a few lbs.

bench 370
squat Ass to Grass 425
deadlift 505

deadlift im sure could be better. ive deadlifted maybe 5 times in the last year so 505 isnt too bad. i partially tore my right quad last november when an olympic clean went bad and pulling a dead up on that thigh still hurts more than id like

this is me last wednesday

please ignore the music. i originally had metallica that i added before posting on youtube and youtube blocked me so i tried to do an audioswap and it ended up being a ghey accustic version of a song i wasnt a big fan of anyways
