Call Out: TMuscle vs BB.com

I never flamed him for lack of progress, I’m flaming for trying to make us tell him how awesome he is cause he’s bigger than a guy 70 lighter than him. That was the theme of the thread, not “hey Rate my Physique” or “Any training suggestions?”.

Either compare yourself to you x years ago or if u’re gonna pick another person, make sure they’re in your weight class. Better yet, pick someone you aspire to look like one day!

I don’t see what’s so hard to understand.
Yeah, cause I’m really going to throw up a pic of Tate or Kroc and say ‘How close am I?’

Read my OP. I thought I was clear on this. The purpose of this thread wasnt to help me (though I appreciate the help I’ve gotten). This thread would never have existed if Mr. 150lbs “I look ripped and you look out of shape” guy hadnt told me to go ahead with this because he thought he’d win.

I will hand you the fact though that the thread title did set the wrong mood and “Any training suggestions” might have been more effective.

This is T-Nation if you post something that looks suspect you’re gonna get called on it.

This thread was a poor decision on Andrew’s part initially , that’s why I stepped in to save it, but the good thing is he realizes that he needs to find a balance between raw power and building muscle now.

It’s called tough love, we don’t baby anyone here.

/seriousness

I didn’t read everything here and I won’t but I am pretty sure the black girl weight more than Andrew’s friend
and maybe as much as Andrew

moar hot black women plz

Why post pictures when at this stage? I would never have done that…because I would have considered myself a rank newbie if that was as far as I had gotten.

That isn’t an insult either, I just don’t understand the mentality lately that causes so many of you to think minimal progress deserves a stage or that the rest of us would find that interesting.

If either of you have trained for longer than 2 years, you need to stop what you are doing and learn what goals are and how to reach them.

Seriously.

Sorry if that hurts.
No X, it doesnt hurt. Its the truth and I agree. I’m not happy with what I’ve achieved. I’d personally put myself above newbie though. The fact that this is where I am after almost 3 years of training means I should reassess and seek some advice. Its the fact that I posted these shots that prompted you folks to advice us on how scrawny we are.

All my lifts are going up steadily (slowly, but steadily). That must be having an positive effect on my physique.
Haven’t read past this so if it’s been addressed, oh well. Don’t listen to him man. You definitely don’t look like a newb. He just likes to point out at every possoble chance that he’s large and has better genetics to get big than anyone here, and if you haven’t achieved what he has then you might as well quit.

So where can I go to see the quality BB.com thread on the other side of this bet?

Actually he is giving Andrew and anyone else that can think critically some pretty good advice.

People need to drop their bias in general, it really only holds you back. Only an ignorant man will ignore someone else opinion without ever hearing it. I will go out of my way to read/listen to the things people I disagree with are saying because obviously their perspective is different. I see that as an opportunity to learn something.

And to address your point, the easiest example to use is yourself. So to bash someone for it is weak. Had he used say, Stu or Meat, or Bug or Way, or AJ or H$M, as an example, as all would fit, you wouldn’t have said shit. It’s sad really.

It really is retarded that on a board where bodybuilding is the topic that if I ever mention myself in regards to size gained (since I don’t see too many people here bigger) that this means I am simply plugging myself regardless of the actual message.

But then, some people are the very definition of “hater” (even though I even mentioned kingbeef yet he has no problem with that…just me).

They won’t even accept that there is a message.

This chick Solei has a real panty sizing problem.

I’m thinking maybe she should just do this more often and go pantiless.

And to the guys who commented about her weight - why focus on an arbitrary number instead of how she looks? Talk about curves in all the right places, damn!

Oh, no. Her sizing abilities are impeccable.
SkyzykS wrote:

Did anybody else skip over the talk and just look at the pics ?

So here’s what I do understand; people flaming Andrew for starting a stupid thread.

What I dont understand; people flaming Andrew for not making progress? What the fuck, the dude started at 160lbs and now he’s 220. Unless he gained 60lbs by sitting on his ass and getting fat people need to shut the fuck up, his lifts have obviously gone up. He just needs some advice, and as do the rest of us, myself included.

And what the hell’s with all the hating on ProfessorX, sure he’s harsh and doesn’t say everything with a sugar coating. But he gives good advice from what I’ve seen and his no bullshit attitude seems to get through to some people alot better, like myself. As for being full of himself, I think its the opposite, people are smaller then him and unwilling to take advice from someone who obviously has experience because they’re the ones who’re to ignorant and full of shit.

Bit of a rant there, my contribution.

What? Quit sucking PX’s dick man. None of what you wrote has anything to do with what I wrote. The op has made good [not decent, but good] progress in the time he’s lifted, and telling him if he’s “lifted for more than 2 years then he’s doing something wrong” isn’t constructive criticism and doesn’t serve any purpose other than belittling him. Is he ready to step on stage? No. Does he have a flawless physique? No. Has he made shitty progress for 2 years of work? Fuck no. He’s put on a shit ton of weight, size and strength and is still fairly lean all things considered. It’s sad that you feel the need to defend what some insecure asshole writes on a fucking message board.

The message is you feel the need to bring yourself up when no one has even mentioned you. You do it in damn near every thread related to bodybuilding, eating for mass, training, whatever. We get it. You’re big. You don’t have to shout it out at the top of your lungs every time you enter a thread.

You know one thing that shines out from you and those who act like you…I can’t seem to find even one post or thread on this site where YOU have actually helped anyone else. I have never seen a “Thanks for the help Whiteflash” post from another poster. I have NEVER seen you help anyone else at all or even provide any insight…yet you stand ready to criticize every single fucking post I ever make.

…and let’s face it, following a grown man around the internet acting like you need to defend someone from me is pretty damn creepy assuming you are also a grown man yourself.

I do believe the point I was making was very clear to the person I was making it to by the end of this thread. THAT is what matters…not what you think of my writing.

If there were more people making some impressive progress, you can bet that the same few I do mention (like kingbeef, madtitan, lewhitehurt, waylander) would not be the only ones…so tell me, why exactly should I avoid using myself as a reference in the discussion of gaining muscle here when I don’t see anyone making much more progress over time?

Like most others like you, you are here strictly for yourself. That is why you don’t get what I am writing and personalize all of it.

Where the fuck are YOUR posts providing any sort of info at all in this regard?

Honestly, who the fuck are you to tell me how to write my posts?

Recently PX told me I have to lift heavier weights to see more growth! THE NERVE OF THAT FUCKER! How dare him tell me that if I want to grow I’m going to have to LIFT HEAVIER! He said HE lifts heavier as an example and just look at him! THE FUCKING NERVE OF THAT GUY TO GIVE UNENCUMBERED, POINTED ADVICE and GIVE EXAMPLES of WHERE IT WORKED!

Big meanie.

I just wish people would spend less time on threads like this, and more time either lifting harder, eating better, or doing something that is going to make this world a better place.

heavy weights are non-functional to tell you the truth. box jumps plus sprints are all you need for hammies and glutes. also, kipping pullups + soya protein.

Why is it you must use sexual orientation to try and attack me, when I wasn’t attacking you in the slightest?

Apparently the “thinking critical” part is a bit of a stretch for you? I didn’t think it would have been when I typed it.

You are hearing what you want to in his posts, good luck with that. But fact is, when it comes down to it, he is one of like 5 fucking people on this site that has a god damn clue AND lived through it.

Anyone ignoring X or dismissing anything he has to say simply because they don’t like his attitude (assuming they have similar goals) is a dipshit.

It’s just like all the Crackheads that ran off Tribunal Dude. They aren’t replacing the void of BB’ing knowledge he would post about. But now everyone is “happy because he could google search and find mah fazebookz page”. When in the end, it just lessens the knowledge base here.

What happened to tribunaldude? Must’ve missed that one.
