If they’re not, whats the point of pushing it like a used car salesman? Pretty much everybody here is lifting serious weight and pistol squats aren’t exactly high priority lifts for anyone - thats not an excuse, thats just intelligent and relevant programming

I admit that written communication can be misunderstood very easily, but my interpretation of this statement is that you think highly of pistols squats. I’m guessing by some of your more recent comments that this is not the case. But early on you appeared to really idolize these things and I think most of us have been operating under that impression all this time.

I guess. I’m familiar enough with both the randomness and certainty at this point.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Mine would be like missing the wife and kid, friends and family type stuff.

But sure, why not? I’m sure a lot of e. r. nurses and priests hear “I just wish I could have fucked with one more guy on T-nat.”,then off into the great unknown.

You seem confused on the difference between tools and goals.

Not achieving your goals because you were too much of a pussy to take the required steps is excuse making and should be called out as such. Doing pistol squats is not a goal for 99.999999% of trainees though, so no-one needs to be called out for not doing them.

A guy too embarassed to answer the question of “how much you squat” is NOT bringing to t back to t-nation.

The only t way to respond to that question was a front squat competiton challenge.

The time for that has now passed. Any attempts now would just be damage control.

Its not unsurprising for a dude with a mildly out of shape physique in his avatar (who never posts about training on a training forum) to be too embarrassed about their squat

I tried pistol squats yesterday but I feel like I’m hitting a wall. I only have two pistols that weigh about 25 oz each. I have a duffel bag that could hold many more, but after doing more pistol research it is becoming clear that reaching an appropriate loading will be very expensive.

Can I use water pistols instead? I’m thinking this might be less concerning to other people in the gym as well.
