Calisthenics for 6 Months, Progress Slower Than What is Normal

lol

You ready to buy the equipment you need?

You have terrible reading comprehension …he is saying his plateau lasted for 8 years (and 185 bench is beginner level round here). And he still kept going.
You gave up after 3 months.

??
this whole thread you’ve communicated how you want to get “muscle muscle muscle” .
You asked me personally to be pointed towards some bodyweight articles. for which I duly obliged( idiot that I am)

What this guy said^ and being stuck at a 185 bench is def stucking as a beginner

I’m getting close to 3 plates and I’m still a beginner/amateur around here

Just highlighting this to maybe live into @T3hPwnisher’s hope that this is a “what not to do” manifesto - there are world-class strength and physique athletes all over this site, and still some rank beginners want to argue based on what they “think”. It’s really weird.

And BTW bwf rr doesn’t say don’t do negative chin ups when you can’t do rows. I just checked it. You must be looking at old rr.
I still don’t know why my progress was slow. It can’t be the higher rep range or train always to failure. I think in weightlifting u also can do every set to failure.

It seems you missed my question.

Then apparently you can’t read. We’ve given you multiple valid reasons for why your progress was slow.

I trained hard, ate as recommended and slept as recommended.
Almost every set to failure. First I did 5 to 8 rep range and saw that strength isn’t going as fast as what is normal so I did more reps for more volume. That’s it.

@T3hPwnisher Just show me the routine. lol

You don’t know the meaning…

I already have.

To run Deep Water, all you will need is a set of squat stands, like these

Those adjust low enough that you can bench out of them.

Get a 5’ barbell (takes up less space) and an adjustable bench. Get some plates You now have all the equipment you need, and VERY little space needed to train.

IF, after presented with this information, you still have an excuse as to why you can’t do a program that will guarantee you results, you now know why you did not see the results you wanted and, subsequently, that you are unwilling to do what it takes to get those results

To second that, that’s about the most affordable set up that you can find, anywhere.

I don’t have room for that. And tose things are fucking dangerous. I will never ever get that again. And then you need big barbells and a big bench. Yup. No. Room. As I said. Why you always on deep water? Every beginner weightlifting program will do it. lol.

@yorkshireiron IF training to failure isn’t training hard then I don’t know.

You, my friend, are a liar.

We have discovered why you are not seeing the progress you want: you refuse to do what it takes to get it.

Have a great life

i AM NOT A LIAR. Stop dreaming. I told you the room is too small. I have planned this already.

This, in itself, is a lie. Surely you can appreciate the irony.

Correct. You don’t know. Glad you agree.

I am just saying that I train hard. And that I cannot lift more then what I lifted. Work with it.

And we’re all saying that you don’t.

Ok. There is nothing I can change then. You gota work with my statement, now I with yours.
