Calisthenics for 6 Months, Progress Slower Than What is Normal

why do you say i have to do exactly what RR says: only last to failure and 5-8 rep range, and no neg. chins/pulls, if 3x8 horizontal rows not possible?
What happens when I ignore all of those rulse? Is this the reason for my snail-like progress?

If you loved training you’d have continued it.

I didn’t say that, you did.

Mad true. Passion is such a huge factor. I really committed to lifting even though I wasn’t good at it. I mean I was stuck at a 185 bench for 8 years! And from there it took me like another 2 years to hit 225.

Now Im stronger than ever and able to grow better because Im around stronger/knowledgable people.

aer you really comparing plateuing after 8 years with someone stucking as a beginner? that’s huge difference. a amateur shouldn’t plateu at all…

@Pinkylifting i love it when I see differences, otherwise, no.

If I were to provide you a program and diet that was guaranteed to let you see differences, would you do it?

Wait…I think I know where this is going.

home Gym. ya. But commuting to a gym nogo.

You will buy the necessary equipment then for a home gym?

Ya. But currently my room is too small.

Without knowing what equipment you will need, how can you say that?

I’ve already planned it. Need at least 17 m² for power rack, bench, barbell, in my own room (shared flat)

I made no mention of needing a power rack. Where are you getting this from?

Basid weightlifting exercises?

You will not need a power rack for this program.

Hmm. Then it’s the first program which was mentioned here. From tnation.

Nope. Not that one.

This is such a weird exchange.
“Nobody will help me”
“I have the answer.”
“Are you trying to trick me into accepting your help?”

I imagine panic is starting to set in.

Look at this picture of a plateau.

You’d need to do some climbing to get up there. To get to a point where, in lifting, you could say, “I’ve plateau’d”, it would require you getting somewhere. Your experience is more akin to riding through Kansas.
