Fuckkk. So sorry to hear that buddy, but great that you’re up and moving.

100% blockage!!? wow… weird with a physical job. You think from previous heavy drinking or just pure bad luck/genetics etc?

Anyway stay strong.

Multiple people have given you references and direct links to effective and proven programs, with highly specific advice in them -set +rep schemes, precise excercise sequencing etc. You’ve rejected all of them out of hand.

You need to get out in the real world and appreciate when people are trying to help you.

It def has the slow burn of quality trolling

Yeah. I was tossing around logs and dragging branches a couple of days prior. I did notice I’d pretty much lost my previous strength, endurance, and recovery abilities for maybe the past couple of years. Figured I was just getting old and broken.

It was smoking though. 100% sure of that. Since quitting and gearing up toward cardio/strength/endurance I’ve seen incredible improvements.
Did a nice 10 mile ride the other day and could literally feel my legs recovering over a course of hours.

And thanks.

My buddy’s dad had one this past spring - I dont remember the exact names but out of the 4 chambers (is that the word) or whatever in the heart, 1 was 100% blocked, 2 were 90% blocked, and 1 was 85% blocked. It was pretty crazy - he never smoked, had a beer like once a year, never ate fast food or sweets, biked to and from work daily, walked his dog and played sports with his kids. Doctors blamed it on work related stress - he had an office job and would work stay at the office for literally 3 days to finish things.

Had a quadruple bypass, and the day before he had one, his mom had a heart attack as well and was flown to the same hospital as him and they had the same surgery at the same time. Doctors said her’s was probably caused by worry.

Our bodies are pretty crazy sometimes. Glad you’re doing well though. Do you still work the same job?

Kinda no, but it’s pretty complicated to explain. I don’t think it was stress though. I worked with some of my best friends and we goofed off pretty much all the time. And my blood pressure is actually quite good, like typically 110-100/70-75.

I had a girlfriend long ago who was a widow. Her husband had been a true hard core type A personality. He went from a heart attack in his mid 30’s.

I’m actually pretty chill.

The thing is I never asked for programs or other advice. Question in first post is: Why did I gain so little?

Look at this dude:

I would never look like this after 2 years if I’d continue my routine.

What an aweful example. Are you really unable to see the difference between what he is doing and what you are doing? Do you really have that little understanding? Is your reading comprehension really that poor?

Why are his results different to yours? because he isn’t doing what you are doing.

He is lifting weights and eating lots of protien and doing both consistently.

You are doing neither of these things, a few sets of chin-ups a few days a week, that you gave up on, is not the same thing.

If you want to be like him, do like him.

I was eating 1.8 g protein per kg. I wasn’t just doing random chin ups.
In short I was lifting heavy and ate as recommended.

No shit, cause you don’t even have a routine. But lets be honest with ourselves, you’re willing to do 0 of those things he lists

Give up. This isn’t the activity or lifestyle for you.

Take up something where being a 150lb fully grown adult male with no drive or determination isn’t a hindrance.
