Calisthenics for 6 Months, Progress Slower Than What is Normal

yes, you can. Autism is diagnosed at a rate of approximately 1 in 60 children. Which means there are literally MILLIONS of diagnosed cases. Aspergers falls under the autism spectrum. Autism diagnosis is clearly extremely common, and can be reliably tested for by the age of 2. Aspergers is generally diagnosed by age 6.

If you haven’t even been diagnosed under the general umbrella of autism, then it’s impossible for me to believe you have aspergers.

Hypochondriac is far more likely.

My understanding is that this can be treated with placebos.

what i am saying is, it’s difficult to be diagnosed as an adult.
and no, I am not excessively and unduly worried about having a serious illness

right…
you just think you have aspergers, low T and hypothyroidism, all of which are undiagnosed. But you’re not making up illnesses in your head. Got it.

As someone suffering from undiagnosed flesh-eating bacteria, I really don’t see the big deal.

But at least we’ve learned TBI, parasites, and Lyme disease (all in one patient) are no big deal. We didn’t even mention his broken back.

Oh yeah, and HIV shouldn’t impact your ability to build muscle.

What we now know is that if no professional diagnoses you, that means the doctors are wrong.
If everyone tells you you aren’t training hard enough, to train harder, then nobody has given you helpful advice.

I can’t think this is real anymore, but I keep coming back for some reason. Maybe a professional would find reason to diagnose me…

I’ve been accused of it a few times, but never diagnosed.

You’re one of those fcukers who make me come to a skidding stop in the left lane of a highway because you’re rubber necking some minor fender bender?

…I kid, I kid…

Again; this topic is a perfect monument of how to fail. Much like the infamous Dreamerbulk or that kid on here that gained and lost 100lbs with nothing to show for it. Edit: remembered his name. @Artem . Good read.

This is great, because if someone ever comes around and asks “what are some common beginner mistakes” we can point to this thread and say “everything done here”

And it’s totally win-win too. If he ever decides to quit wallowing in self-pity and take charge of his life; victory for him. Otherwise, every single post he makes is just more examples of what NOT to do.

exactly the same scenario goes on for me. online, often diagnosed. offline, never. people are just idiots who have 0 emotional intelligence points

Great, great point

I was riffing on being diagnosed with adulthood.

But since I have your attention-

I had a heart attack mid June at 47, with a 100% blockage of my left lateral coronary something or other, and 90%blockage of my right coronary. My last few years have been lack luster fitness wise, imho, and after getting a few Stents installed I’ve been using calisthenics to get into better condition, along with cycling and resistance circuits.

So, I’d say have fun with what ever it is you’re trying to do, because there isn’t a whole lot to be gotten. I’m progressing through some push-ups and whatnot rather quickly and I’m really actually holding back because going at my preferred rate scares my wife.

ok nice  don’t understand why you telling me this though. probably you don’t understand me.

I don’t need to understand you. I understand bodyweight exercises.

I’m telling you that they only have a very limited use/value.

You’re too hung up on people understanding You.

It’s you that doesn’t understand anybody. :joy:

Really? Maybe you have ILD, or intermittent language disorder, too.
