That was exactly my point, I don’t think Prof X has ever been wrong about anything. And he doesn’t have a problem with putting everyone down that doesn’t agree with him.

Niko,

What is your problem? Did ProfX tell you to shut up and eat or something?

Boohoo.

If you’ve been around here any length of time you know that when people are arguing politics they step in when the see what looks like nonsense from the opposing viewpoint.

So, are you able to add anything to the conversation or is this it? Pretty pathetic if all you can do is throw lame insults at people you disagree with.
Vroom,
I have been around “here” for over 3 years, I just don’t post much. I don’t always agree with what is posted but that is ok, I also don’t belittle someone for have an opposite point of view. Tell us what makes you such an expert at everything?

Holy, you consider me an expert? Wow, thanks man.

Generally, people aren’t usually belittled simply for having an opposing point of view, it usually takes a bit more of a push than that. However, it occurs on both sides of the aisle, so I don’t know what you can do about it.

First step, round up those folks that only chat for the purpose of stirring up arguments instead of discussing topics rationally. Then, round up those that don’t read what you say and instead put words in your mouth and argue what they’d prefer you to have said.

That would be a start.

Online forums are entertainment. I consider myself well entertained, but I have no illusions about being an expert at anything…

I’m just now reading this…and you are a jackass. I don’t see ANYONE running around this board saying, “oops, I am so wrong on my point of view and my opinion is invalid.” What I do see is several people of varying magnitudes of ego all complaining if their light gets occupied by any other mortal while they are trying to take the stage. Take you for instance. What has made you the moral superior that you now feel it is your duty to force me to respond a certain way? Here’s a better question…could you be wrong in your perception? Get back to me with an answer.

This a bodybuilding board. I would assume that the majority here who do respond on a regular basis are possibly more sure of themselves and their point of view than the majority of humans milling around the planet. If you have a problem with that, you can effectively suck my balls.

huh huh john kerry was in the porn navy - he was a seamen

Prof X your response says it all, it shows your emotional and social maturity (or lack of it). Again you have resorted to cursing and make profane references to back up your argument. At one time I had a lot of respect for your opinion, but over the last year or so I have come to realize that I truly misjudged who or what you are and no longer respect you or your opinion. Feel free to respond with more immature name calling and cursing, I have come to expect that from you!

WHOA. There was absolutely no cause to insult New Jersey in there. ABSOLUTELY NONE. You want to insult New York, go ahead. Make fun of Texas…we all do anyway. But to make fun of NJ was out of line. I thought your list was funny. Now it sucks. NJ is the most liberal, progressive, richest, coolest, best looking, smartest, most densely populated, and…a whole bunch of other good shit. BACK OFF. Don’t make me pull out French jokes.

I remember driving through NY 2 summers ago, and I suddenly asked myself “what’s that smell?”…then I noticed the Welcome to New Jersey sign.

True story.

I think New Jersey is the only state that if free to get in but you have to pay a toll to leave. I am always happy to pay it.
Aren’t you from Texas?

50th in education? 1st in obesity and state-sponsored killing?

Thanks for playing, though.

New Jersey doesn’t count as a real state. It’s leftovers from New York. When’s the last time someone said, “Hey Guys, let’s all go have some fun in New Jersey?” NJ is for people who couldn’t make in the best city on this planet – New York City.

And Jersey guys ripping on Texas! Texas! Texans wouldn’t wipe their asses with the best part of New Jersey.

Niko, you were asked a specific question in that previous post and you ran from it. Your opinion means less than nothing until you gain the courage to follow a discussion.

Thank you for at least throwing one compliment in there.

NEW JERSEY STANDARD OF LIVING:

* New Jersey has the highest auto insurance rates in the nation.
* New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation.
* New Jersey has the highest cigarette tax in the nation.
* New Jersey has the second highest statewide housing costs in the nation: 73% above the national average!
* New Jersey has the third highest cost of doing business in the nation.
* New Jersey has the fourth highest health insurance costs in the nation.
* New Jersey has the fifth highest amount of tax-supported debt in the nation.
* New Jersey's overall cost of living is 32% above the national average. Why pay such a premium to live in New Jersey when you could live in a place that is both nice and has a reasonable cost of living?
* New Jersey collects income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, sin taxes, casino taxes, tourism taxes, and highway tolls, yet the state has massive budget problems. Where the hell is all of that money going? At least I know where it is coming from: your pockets!
* New Jersey ranks first in the nation in per-pupil spending, but its students' only achieve average reading and math scores.
* New Jersey is the most densely populated and overcrowded state in the nation. Hope you like standing in long lines and sitting in traffic jams.
* The Jersey shore (don't say beaches) is vastly overrated. First, you have to fight your way through traffic jams and toll booths. Next, you have to pay for parking. Then you have to pay for beach tags to use a public beach! Finally, the ocean will be murky, freezing cold, or filled with jellyfish.
* Atlantic City will always be a cut-rate resort compared to Las Vegas.

NEW JERSEY POLITICS:

* Every year, New Jersey's stupid voters keep electing the same crooked, tax-and-spend politicians to that big incestuous bed of state government corruption.
* New Jersey owns the distinction of having the first gay governor, Jim McGreasy. But unfortunately, New Jersey also owns the distinction of having the first corrupt gay governor. And need I remind everyone that the stupid New Jersey voters elected this sleazebag in a 15-point landslide?
* New Jersey residents receive less federal funding per dollar of federal taxes paid than any other state. So not only are New Jersey's politicians crooked, but they are also ineffective.
* The New Jersey Supreme Court is the most activist state court in the nation (well, maybe after Massachusetts!) For example, the court allowed Frank Lautenberg to replace Robert Torricelli as a senate nominee in 2002, even though state law clearly says that a party can replace a statewide nominee on the ballot only if the person drops out at least 51 days before the election. (Now the next time I have jury duty, I guess I can totally ignore the law and rule however I wish.)
* Of course, New Jersey further embarrasses itself when its stupid voters play right along and elect that old fossil Lautenberg to replace bribetaking Senator Torricelli.

Holy mother I’ve never seen a thread go further off topic than this one.

And Texas gave us George W Bush.

So, once again: thanks for playing, but you lose.

You’re welcome.

Is it true that you aren’t allowed to pump your own gas?

Is anyone still in the dark about how mindless the push for control is in this country? The sad part is, you still have “Bush supporters” instead of people who look at actions alone. It is going to take billions to repair New Orleans and parts of Lousiana…but we MUST stop the porn!!? This got stupid about 4 1/2 years ago.
X don’t forget you gotta get the steroids out of sports… We have kids killing themselves over this stuff. Forget the fact we have a swiss cheese border. All this stuff is a smoke screen to cover the important issues that no one wants to deal with.

I have to say the internet porn thing does have me a bit concerned. I’m hoping to have children soon and I know it is extremely easy to get porn, You don’t even have to try. I realize as a parent it will be my job to monitor what the kids are doing. As an example we have a local news paper online. www.pennlive.com I think. I keyed in www.penlive.com one day and bam! it was a full blown porn site.

I think I would support making changes so that it took a more intentional action in order to find it. I do not think it should be illegal though.

From NY but lived the last 15 years in PA.

I have probably been to NJ close to 50 times. I have traveled the country extensively. NJ is the absolute last place I would live in this country.

Even though there are distinct differnces between Northern NJ, Southern NJ and the Shore they are all loaded with the same miserable people.
