Burst Speed

I am currently looking for some specific exercises for burst speed/strength/power to help me with my MA and Acro. I have currently only really been told that the only thing I need to do is do my current lifts with a faster movement/power through it more.

I have also been told for optimal gains you want to do the movement slowly. This is pissing me off what is the collectives POV on this. Isometrics are also a option which seems to be the way I will be going with this if I cant find a more simple way.

Well, this is something I’ve wondered as well. But for optimal muscle growth doing exercises with varying speeds should be best, as it should stress different types of muscle fibers.

However I’d be surprised if doing exercises slowly would help burst strength. I would not be surprised if they aided in overall muscle development.
