Belle River was around 620 if I remember right, and at the WPFG it was 635 I believe.
I have just finished 7 months of 5/3/1, and do not like the results, I feel that my capacity for higher reps with heavier weights has increased, but my overall max single has not… at least as far as I can tell.
Maybe that will change with the juices flowing of an actual meet. When I pick something up, whether it be squat, bench or dead, close to my 1 rep max from previous, it feels real damn heavy. I think my CNS is not used to it. Plus, a few nagging injuries over the last few months…
But… excuses are like a**holes, everyone has one… Gonna go and have some fun anyways and revamp my training after the meet.
I don’t suppose I could talk you into sharing a copy of the program meat put together for you. I’m working my own and my deadlift has gone up but squat has stayed static. Frank just thinks it’s because I’m a big pussy and need to get under heavier weight.
I hate deloads… week before competitions… I am so pumped right now, I just think about it and my heart rate raises to almost 100 bpms… need something heavy… NOW!!!

haha. Almost there, just two sleeps left.
And now, 1. I wanted to come see you and ourboro lift but I don’t have the new, modified driver’s license and I’m not sure what I need to border cross.

That’s so gay. We’ve officially broken up! That’ll teach you to say gay things.
Fuggin’ blew it.
Bombed on opener bench. Un-fuggin-believable. Shoulder is toasted too…
I am so damn pissed off…
Bad 2 day experience all around… from trip down to accomodations to food…
Ouroboro (Jules) and Frank were fantastic, and I appreciate all the help and encouragement… Frank, thanks for talking me down off the bridge.
Chad, Andrew… thanks for the post bomb-out beers… drove 5 hours home and had another dozen and half a bottle of whiskey… along with a pizza and a dozen chocolate chip cookies.
Where to go from here. ???
Keats—“Don’t be discouraged by a failure. It can be a positive experience. Failure is, in a sense, the highway to success, inasmuch as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true, and every fresh experience points out some form of error which we shall afterwards carefully avoid”.
