Goin’ to do some strongman stuff today at a buddy’s place. Atlas stones, tires, hammers, sleds and railway ties… awesome.

I’m on the floor freakin crying. Now that’s funny.

Okay, but sometimes the only way you know you really executed a max pull is if you shit yourself so I don’t think it would really look that odd.

I’ve come close a few times, where I have ben questioning whether or not in the middle of a pull if it was a fart… or something more sinister…
Today was a fun day, but also one hell of workout… let’s see if I can remember everything we did…
So, my buddy trains MMA fighters, and has a gym/ circuit/ and strong man implements in his garage and around his house in the yard that he got from ??? and has made/ or has had made a whole bunch of strong man stuff and just general cool shit for GPP. I mean, he has tires ranging in size from like 100 pounds up to 700-800 pounds, atlas stones from 100 to 350 pounds, railway ties with handles screwed to them and extensions for plates, sleds and prowlers that he has made or had made.
He has this thing that he made from a dock, some stairs and a kids jungle gym… with chinup bars, dip handles, fire hoses and rock climbing rocks attached to it. Looks like a hang mans gallows workout station. So, anyway…
5 of us at his house. My buddy is 47, I am 43 and the other 3 guys that show up are friends of his sons, and bouncers at a local new fan-dangled sparkly disco ball collar popped metro sexual bar. So, you get the picture…
Start off with the prowler + 100 pounds… pushing it… 50 metres one way… 4 trips of that for a warmup.
Then, prowler with 200 pounds, pulling it, rope attached to weightlifting belt… sprints for 2 trips.
Then, prowler with 300+ pounds, pulling it… sprints for 1 trip.
Then, prowler pulls with 500-600 pounds for about 20-30 meters, rope attached to a tire as an anchor to pull with.
Then onto the atlas stones… lotsa reps picking up the stones and putting on drums… lost count at like 10 trips.
Then, 250 pound stone box squats. Basically, pick up the stone, hold it… then squat onto box for 3 sets of 10. Kinda like atlas stone zercher box squats…
Then “shark tank tire flipping”. One guy in the middle, 4 others surround… 400-500 pound tire flipped back and forthe between the guy in the middle and the 4 gus around him. 2 minutes non stop for each person, then rotate to the outside.
The farmers walk with the railway ties… each one about 150-175 pounds… 2 trips of 100 meters then one just go as far as you can before dropping.
And then… last but not least… hammered on the tire with a 30 pound sledge hammer for a bit… done.
My posterior chain is fried, especially after the squat training 2 days ago. Gonna feel this in the morning, but had a helluva good time.
Gonna get some pics and or video next time I go out there…
F Me, that’s a shit-ton of work. You are gonna feel that for a few days.
The sick part is most of us reading about your day are jealous of all the fun you had. Sounds like a great time.
Hel… JJ… thanks for stoppin’ in boys…
I am so f’n sore it is un-f’n-believable. From my heels to my neck. Supposed to be deadlift day tomorrow, we shall see. I may go to the gym… look at the weights… and leave… lol!

Yo yo yo… don’t hate the player dog, hate the game (said while grabbing crotch and sucking teeth whilst displaying two fingers in a “V”).
Learned that in my urban speech class last night… translated… “I truly appreciate your concern for my actions and behaviour my friend, but this action is truly necessary for the betterment of myself and my community. You are welcome to accompany me in my endeavours.”

There is actually a class called ‘Urban Speech’? I’d fail. I’d constantly be going “Huh, what, what did you just say?”

Its only ghey if they are attached to someone… these are not. Gets a little messy…
Still training hard, 5 weeks out from my first full 3 lift meet. Did some strong man stuff on Saturday again… gonna work up to my openers this week and see how I feel.
Had a nutritionist offer to do me a plan (free… so said what the heck). Looks interesting, 2 pounds of meat a day (with veggies/ rice etc and stuff mixed in) so gonna give it a go for a few weeks and see what happens. Think they are gonna use me as an experiment.
Waiting for my CPU card in the mail, then I can send the contest form in.

NO HOT SAUCE!! That is a sin against nature. Lots of food. Are you able to take the time to eat that many times during the day? Looks like you’re gonna have to be able to hit the head kinda often, too. Good luck.

Looking good, Bunny.
