Dude you slipped to the second page. Couldn’t let that happen.

Whew! Been damn busy, but rest assured I have been in the gym getting back into the swing of things.

Had a hockey party last night… woke up with a pretty good headache and screwed up stomach.

Beer, whiskey, Tequila and Yaegermeister mixed with nachos/ jalapenos sour cream and ground beef… not so smart. Plus… smoked way too much. I know I know… I am gonna quit, seriously… I feel like shit.

I really felt crummy… thought I could sweat out the evil spirits… didn’t work. Think I need an excorcism.

For those of you that care, Tuesday is my “quit” date for smoking. Gotta get my head on straight.

Nice hung over squatting Bun… Man i’m behind you on the quitting the smoking… thats a tough one!!

Wait, don’t quit til I get to pile on, too! Them cigs is expensive as hell now! Not real good for the health, either. Good luck on your quit date. I expect a 100# increase on all lifts immediately following on Wednesday.

That is a vicious combo for a hangover. Beer and whiskey, fine, but adding on the jag and tequilla, that sounds so… amatuerish.

Went in to squat one day a couple months back. This kid who is a regular at the gym was sweating his way through 20 rep squats on a tequilla hangover. Wasn’t pretty, and he ended up in the john praying to the porcelin god…

Well… today is the quit date. Tonight, start of wave 1, week 3, 5/3/1- military press. Looking forward to it.

Trying to find a 3 lift meet in the spring. Nobody has anything posted yet here in Ontario for 2010. Keep looking…

you may have to travel a bit. i wouldn’t know how to act if i didn’t have to drive at least 8 hours to a meet. my last one was 12. it fucking sucked.

Good luck quiting. You’ve got all kinds of support here. Looking forward to following your continuing progress on 5/3/1.

Good luck kicking the sticks. Are you looking for a CPU meet? You can always venture across the border too. See some Canucks venturing down here for meets from time to time.

Thanks guys. Yeah Meat… my first meet ever was 6 1/2 hour drive… my second meet was 2000 miles away, lol! I will go pretty much anywhere, but would prefer to keep it somewhat close, cut down on the expenses as well.

I see some advertisements for meets, especially the “Raw” ones down in the US of A. I may have to expand my search parameters a bit. I just wanna have some fun and gain some experience while I am at it.

I am reading “The Easy Way To Quit Smoking” by Alan Carr… that is what I read and how I quit the last time. Good book, and helped me immensely. He really cuts through all the bullshit. Weird though, through the book he tells you when to have a cigarette… so by the end it actually pisses you off when he tells you when to smoke. For those of you that have never smoked, I know it sounds odd… eh, nevermind.

Ok boys… time to get back at 'er… pot of coffee on, book… smokes…

Bunny, best of luck with the quittin’.
