Damn, I’m just lifting weights. Now I got to go out and get me a “named program”.

Felt good to get back at 'er. Right shoulder sounds like a popcorn maker, a little sore today. Ahhh… isn’t getting older so much fun!
Weights will be increasing on the accessories me thinks.
glad to see you getting back into it
NOV 3RD
WENDLER 5/3/1 WAVE 1 WEEK1
BODYWEIGHT 276
DEADLIFT
bar warmup
225x10
315x3
(working sets)
330x5
380x5
455x5-- screwed up weight % here, supposed to be 430lbs, wasn’t paying attention… ![]()
So, Because I was a dumbass and I needed to be punished…
430x5
GOODMORNINGS
205 x 5 sets of 10
HANGING LEG RAISES
5 sets to failure
GRIP STUFF
buncha wrist curls etc…
**Not a bad session… I feel like I have lost a lot of strength and I am outta shape- conditioning wise.
With the weight screw up on deadlifts, I remember thinking to myself… 4 plates per side is 405, need 25 more pounds to make 430, cool, one 25 plate works out perfect so I don’t have to screw around with the 10’s/ 5’s and 2 1/2"s. I new it felt heavier. And, because I am OCD, I had to follow the program which called for 430x5… so I did that too. Probably could have gotten a few more reps, but I wasn’t gonna be stupid after the 455x5. Plus… I ran out of Vagisil and Midol right before this session and I broke a fuckin’ nail… so bite me!
I have a confession to make as well… I started smoking again about a month ago, had the odd one here and there, usually alcohol related social smoke… but about a month/ 6 weeks ago bought a pack, and BAM- right back to a pack a day… fucking unbelievable. I feel like a bag of shit.
I am really pissed at myself, I know I am not this weak… mentally or physically. Time to sort myself the fuck out.
Ok… mini-rant complete, we now return you to your regular scheduled programming… thanks for stopping by!
yeah… man. get that shit worked out. nut up and get rid of the coffin nails. you are much stronger than that.

heheheh… “nut up”… lol!
I loved that movie. Gonna be a classic, gonna but it when out comes out DVD.
Smoke half a pack on your way to squat day. That will teach you a lesson.
You know what you need to do. Now get back to training for a 700 lb deadlift,400 bench and 600 squat.
So you wussed out on the rep out set too? I do that all the time. Start repping out the last set and the deads & squats will give you incentive to quit that shit
LOL! I should know better than to look for sympathy or empathy in here… sniff… love you guys!

Nice work bunnydude.
good benchin’
Your restarting of the nasty habit reminded me of a story. I used to work at this bar in Chicago, one of my comanagers was a former top level USPF lifter. He also smoked. He got another one of our coworkers, who sidelined as a welder, to make him a power rack, drew up all the specs etc. To be a smartass, the welder added an ashtray onto the rack.

Ok… that is damn funny. I know, I gotta quit… just gotta get my mind right.
Chi-town… these are “Tates”… or “elbows out” some people call 'em.
By the way… Da Bears are my favourite NFL team… seriously pissed that Urlacher is out for the season…
Off to the gym for squats tonight… ![]()
Bunny, whats next?? You looking for a meet. I’m looking for one because I need something to workout for.
Bunny,
Thanks for the video, I’ve never seen or heard about the exercise before (I feel like such a newb).
The Bears are a mess, need to really work on putting pressure on the QB. Very interesting how much 2 players (Urlacher and Mike Brown) can make such a difference.
Who is that in the vid? looks kinda familiar. Hmmmm. All those elbow wraps, must be a gear whore.
