BunnyQuest s6/ b4/ dl7/ Raw

do you wrap your knees? if you’re sore in the posterior chain, the best recovery for me has always been the 45 degree back raise.

Eco, maybe you and I need to take up this kabaddi to up our conditioning… [/quote]

I need the conditioning but not a giant like Bunny running me over. I can’t imagine running full tilt and smashing into someone Bunny’s size. Just sounds to painfull.

MJ- usually wrap my knees for squats only- once I break 405 lb mark… posterior chain not sore, just the old knees from tackling and getting tackled, not to mention trying to stop and cut and change directions with 270+ frame. Right quad from a charlie horse, took a knee in the quad… $#%@!

Called into work today… told them I could not come into work, I was having a problem with my vision… I could not see myself coming to work… BA DUM DUM!!

Seriously folks… going to go with the wife to the hospital today to see the father in law, we have some decisions to make about his/ our future, and how to go about implementing them. So, no Kabaddi tonight… no sprints or jogs… I am real heart broken about this.

Thanks Pete… I can’t remember where I found that pic…

Just got back from the hospital visit with the father in law, he seems to be in better spirits and to have stabilized somewhat. They are discussing his “rehab”, so that is good. They have a short term rehab facility right in the hospital, so that will make things alot easier for him, as well as for us. Once he becomes mobile (or semi mobile) we can make arrangements for him here at our house.

The wife is finally starting to calm down a bit, which makes life better for me.

Was starving after I got out of the hospital… so we stopped on the way home for some comfort food. We found this amazing little Italian eatery… and I had the most amazing baked three cheese tortellini with bacon and chicken… it was awesome! Sorry Eco!

I also had a nice shot of Crown Royal on the rocks and a chees/crab dip for a starter… so I should weigh close to 300 lbs by the morning… heavy sigh

Bodyweight- 268

SEPT 12TH 5/3/1 DEADLIFT C-2

225x8–200x8
225x5–200x5 x 4 sets

Rest time between sets was pretty short- no idea what it was, but sucking wind pretty good during this one- soaked to the ass. Hands have gotten soft too, they were pretty sore, had to use straps nearing the end of this one. Thought about doing calves… that is about as far as I got, thinking about it.

just catch’n up… that pick of you man handling that little dude is priceless. you look freak’n huge. i, sometimes, go out and play some football with friends. i’m sure you are like me, you don’t realize how big and strong you are until someone hits you or you hit someone and they don’t get up.

training is looking good and consistant bro.

how are you liking the 5/3/1 so far?

Jeebus, bunny. Was that guy trying to tackle you? There’s no way he’s getting anyone your size down by going to the waist!

I hope you helped him pick up the pieces after that little tussle.

Nice benches and deads, too!

Hey Meat!- yeah, when I was “stopping” (kinda like a guard) people playing Kabaddi, I did not hurt anyone (too bad)… I would use just enough strength necessary to subdue them… now that I am “raiding” (kinda like a running back) I have accidentally hurt a couple of guys… nothing too serious, dislocated shoulders and one minor concussion. Hard getting the weight training in while practicing 2-3 times a week with this Kabaddi.

MJ- I am likin’ the 5/3/1, nice knowing exactly what I am going to be doing each session…

MCL- thanks bro!

STANDING CALF RAISES

Bunny

training is looking solid!!!

that pic is crazy- I feel tiny.

good luck with the inlaws housing.

holy huge avatar bunny! I nearly ran from my computer!!! A friend of mine recently called me, said he ended up hanging out with some college girls, and eventually got called the creepy old guy. Don’t let that be you.

Thanks guys…

I have been keeping to myself at the College… and behaving, trying not to gawk and drool. Took a little tour around the place today at lunch, went and looked in the gym, very nice and well stocked… but that place will get me in trouble I think… quite a few of the students (and staff) like to workout during their lunch hour in various states of ummmmmm… attire?

I might sneak in for a “quick one”… heheheh.

Just be sure you have the drool up in place…

Bodyweight 268

SEPT 19TH 5/3/1
SQUAT
set the pins for proper depth- each rep touch pins
bar x warmup
135x10
225x5
315x3
(working sets)
355x3 (supposed to be 5, felt something pull in my groin, not good)
400x3 (struggling…)
455x1 (pain causing me to pitch forward coming out of hole)

D.E. SQUATS
315 x 4 sets of 3

had to cut this one short, no “pop” coming out of the hole, groin killing me, fek…

I hate it when pain ruins a perfectly good workout. Good thinking backing off. Hope its just a passing ache.

Thanks Eco… took it easy last night, had a few barley pops and watched the UFC with some buddies at a local watering hole.

I feel really tight this morning in the groin area, but not too much pain… think I will take it easy for a few days, gotta be healed before I head to California this weekend.

did you look down and check for the tampon string? J/K, hope this isn’t any major set back.
