Just got the word… heading to San Francisco end of the month for the Kabaddi… cool…
My in-laws are getting to the age we’re talking about building an in-law apartment. And like your wife non of my wifes family (three brothers) would ever help. Good luck Bunny.

Dude, that rocks. Maybe DCA can come out and watch…
But I think adding cardio to your regime is a bit hasty.
Remember
Cardio is for guys under 200 lbs. not us. The other guys on your team are supposed to funnel the victims to you.
Heheheh… MJ, got that right!

Nah…not when it is a cop doing it. That is known as justifiable use of deadly force.

F@#* man! you’re more than twice the size of that guy. If that’s typical, you’re well worth the all expense paid trips around the world
Le Famil, c’est la vie’. Hope everything works out for you and the wife. Always tell my sons, nieces, nephews, I’m gonna live long enough to be a burden on them. Ain’t gonna happen. Have fun out there in San Fran. Might want to watch that legs spread, bent over, arm around the guys head postion, though. That’s considered foreplay out there.
Good luck with the dad-in-law stuff, and heed hel’s words, some might take a likin’ to that kind of man handling in the bay area, lol. I have a few friends with older parents/grandparents living with them, and it might be in my future some day. Not an easy situation.
Thanks guys… I am looking forward to seeing California, even if it is only for a few days. I will heed your advice… and watch my back out there. Hopefully I will get a chance to see the Golden Gate Bridge and some other stuff while I am there.
Supposed to be practicing twice a week up until when we go… so cardio is going to be sorted out whether I like or not.
We are supposed to be going to India/ Pakistan in January… I think this will be my farewell tour… have not decided yet… but it is funny to see the hardcore fans and players faces when they see some white guys come on the field to play, and then slam one of their star players or throw their stoppers around.
One of the fans I talked to put in good context- he asked what we would think if a guy wearing a turban came on the ice with the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Team and skated rings around them and scored a bunch of goals. Different view I guess…
269 pounds this morning, feeling lean and speedy… not! lol! Gonna drive my eldest down to the city so he can meet up with his buddy and head back to the base… then I think I am going to go and hit the driving range and smack some balls around. I only got out golfing once this year, which is bad for me. I am scheduled to go out with some buddies this Wednesday for 18 holes. Should be fun.

Criminy! you look like you’re absorbing him and adding him to your mass! I don’t think taking you any lower would have made much of a difference. The size disparity is so great it’s purt’ near a meerkat pushing on a rhino.
This forum is gonna be full of all skinny guys soon. I don’t think anyone is over 275 any more. Congrats on getting below 270. I was 269 on Saturday.

I think we will all be ready for a 2011 Over 35 Swimsuit Calendar… we may need lots of nair, though.

Nah… I’m gonna corn row my entire body, put little beads on the end of each one so I look like a walking sasquatch version of Bo Derek…

Why did I click on this while trying to eat lunch? Not that the visual will stop me from eating though… but still.

Sorry Pete! lol!
SEPT. 8TH
KABADDI PRACTICE
Went for a slow jog… don’t know how far, but got the heart rate up. We then did a bunch of stretching and calistenic (sp?) bullshit… burpees, jumping jacks, bodyweight squats etc. etc. I hate this crap… I know I know, it works blah blah blah… but I still don’t have to like it.
We then ran some drills, which was some good stuff. I had this young guy hot me preety good yesterday, hit me low, below the knees at full speed, I thought I stuffed his takedown but he managed to grab one of my legs as I was twisting away… felt a “pop” in my knee, had me worried for a bit. A little sore today but not too bad. Whole practice was about an hour and a half.
Going golfing today… back to work tomorrow.
A practice like that will whip you into shape. Glad the ‘pop’ wasn’t anything serious.
Eco, maybe you and I need to take up this kabaddi to up our conditioning…
Golfing yesterday with a couple of buddies… couple of beer as well, good times. Only 3rd time out walking the links this year, where did the summer go? Leaves starting to change colour up here all ready… crap!
Managed to shoot 89… after a mulligan and one or two “foot wedges” was probably closer to 95… still not too bad for 3rd time out this year, but I won’t be hitting the PGA Tour any time soon.
Knee was a litle stiff yesterday, felt ok once I got it warmed up, but think I may have stretched/ pulled something. Supposed to have another practice this evening, see how I feel. Gotta do bench today as well… and go to work… busy day ahead!
