Bummer of a Box Squat

If you have lower back problems at all, I wouldn’t recommend good mornings. Within a couple weeks of trying them with minimal weight (I’ve tried this several times), my back always ends up giving out in a most painful way.

Or is that just me?

Not to put words in GB’s mouth, but: Yes, provided you don’t keep piling on weight regardless of how shitty your form becomes.

Off the subject here, but I think actually getting stapled by a good morning outside of a rack would suck. I’d love to see a video of someone doing that, to satisfy the inner sadist.
