Found this… its a Older pic . Dakota was running 185lbs maybe 190lbs. So it gives you idea of my general size i guess at the time. I was in gorilla /bear mode

New rules …. ( some will violate my K.I.S.S philosopy)

  • maintaining a resonable preset hard cap. So no more cranking out 10 reps on a 95% week.
  • Applying RIR on assistance movements.
  • Waving volume and intensity on assistance movements.
  • Eliminating certain movements.in

In this case eliminating pullups at the moment. Since i prefer Pendlay rows to be my heavier hitter pulling exercise . Doing both in a training week at my age and weight tends to cause a recovery issue . It also digs into performance for the core 4 movements.

  • When in doubt or start to get stupid due to ego, reminding myself the core 4 is the main back bone… while the assistance is there to support it.
