DIPS: 5 X 10 @ BW … probably start adding weight in a few weeks

Neutral grip pull ups( 3 alternated grip width) 25 total…. Was able to shave off a set.

Curls: 20/3 TR 20…. To keep myself more engaged mentally im keeping the rep range between 6-8 reps with good form . With focus on moving a little weight.

Thick rope curls: 38/3 TR 40 … these are basically become my lighter pump movement.

Band face pulls: a bunch putting these in as a pre- hab .

To make things fun for myself… Even if i view them more as a do them to cover my bases movement. Im going to push myself a little and get back to the point where i can curl 135lbs for good reps with a olympic bar.

Between the holiday bloat not tracking intake nor daily weight . Well it bumped me down in cals. As I expected .

One of the drills was comical since I have lost some mobility from my layoff.

Im not looking to be ultra mobile. BUT I want to be mobile enough that things run smoothly mechanically.

I have the same problem when I do topless yoga. Matching black eyes. Those downward dogs are dangerous.

One legged pendulum lunge/squat: 3 x 10

Reverse hyper : 4 x 10@ sw

Standing cable crunches: 5 x 10 @ Sw. Pushed these hard.

Not too bad. Notice issue with core and bracing. But considering the two new things introduced… not bitching. More details to follow.

Regarding the new variables I introduced today.

  • The Titian Yukon bar.

Well no real complaint. Allows me to bring in my grip and create a better shelf. It dose have a odd wobble when you first take it out. Could be of the extreme camber or the the smooth bearing in the sleeve. They have some easy spin to them. Which isnt a deal breaker and easy to adjust to.

  • Elitefts knee sleeves

I missed these…. glad i got a new pair. Most definitely prefer these over the ones from Mark Bell Sling Shot.

  • WORK Boots! ( going a little old school here)

Well the heel hight and angle is very similar.

The soles are rock hard. Zero give much like a lifting shoe. Thats the odd thing about the Inzer shoes is they have a little give under heavy load. Honestly id say something in my foot would give before those work boots do.

Its designed to be slip resistant for oil. So… once your feet are set to squat. Your rooted to the spot. Definitely a more solid base.

Only draw back is they don’t have straps to tighten them.

We’re just not in the right age group to discuss trt. I just know 3 guys who use it and we discuss dosages, everyone has an endo guy so no cheating.

I think the younger generation that lifts talks openly about it among their friends.

One guy, a smart electronics engineer about 40, told me last week he got hemotomocrosis (sic?) from taking test, and he’s giving blood weekly. Dr. says he’s at critical point with liver.. Only one I know who’s had side effects. My 83 year old friend is doing GREAT on it. Still occasionally benching 225.

I just find it odd the number of guys you seeing under 30 jumping on the TRT wagon.
I question if its low because of actual hereditary issue or shitty environmental issue… like shit diet and sitting on their ass.

Or they are uninformed and think TRT amounts will give them some jump when their base line levels are normal to start. :man_shrugging:

I question how much poor diet plays into it. How many have crashed their T level poor to shit nutrition. Be it garbage food or not taking in enough cals to support what they are doing. Since it still seems allot of guys are still hung up on being lean as possible

But its comical …. allot of these guys dont understand how it works. They dont seem to grasp that once you start your natural production stops.

Well… i was going to do some conditioning work on the Airdyne. But I can’t keep my Bully out of the room since I have a sliding Barn door. He gets all excited and wants to hump my leg as I try and peddle.
