@shaneinga you will be happy to know the new toy is built for the taller guy in mind. If i was shorter than my 5’9 height. I wouldnt be able to do GHRs on them. Plus its set higher so to go reverse hypers i damn near need a step stool.

Dynamic paused Box squat: 10x2@ 60%… love dynamic squats. Plus i want a second day of squatting in my " weekly block" these will allow more work volume without wrecking me.
Reverse hypers: 3x15… not really heavy . Working on getting the form down.

I figure at my current rate of weight loss im looking at another 12 weeks of dieting to be at my training weight . Of course being in this phase my recovery is shit at the moment. Once this phase is done ill switch to a reverse diet and things will hopefully take off.
I concluded psychologically i needed a change in my programming . Besides ive been doing this long enough that i know what works and doesn’t for myself. At most moving forward i might barrow shit from other system’s and implement into my programming. But in retrospect i evently i knew that i needed to own my shit.

Seated Db cleans : 3 x15
Lying tri extensions swiss bar: 3 x10
Push downs : 3 x 15- 20 just to get some blood in the area.
Pendlay rows: 3x6 … lower back was fatigued from work yesterday. These were so so. Wasn’t producing much power off the ground. Might needed to do a few more warm up sets before doing the work sets.
Reverse grip pulldowns: 3x8
Seated medium grip rows: 3 x 10
Trap bar shrugs: 3 x 15
Pulls to throat : 3 x20
Upper back is toast.
