Glad to see you’ve adjusted to staying home.

oh I adjusted out of necessity… not saying i am thrilled about it.

clock work orange

When it rains it pours… havent done much the past week due to a odd ball issue I had with my left foot. Went ahead and squatted today and found my Piriformis was screaming and pressing on the nerve. A good sign for me that I have been over doing the treadmill.

Doesn’t sound great, time to ditch the cardio mate.

dont plan on it…need to adjust the volume or the intensity. Maybe look more into how im actually walking. Maybe have the oldest take a look since he has studied body mechanics.

Not a bad idea maybe time for some different shoes.

Get some ROI out of your son lol

He thinks my issue is that I get the bad habit of getting lazy and I hold on to the handle after awhile. Apparently , swinging your arms when you run or walk at a brisk pace naturally helps with decreasing torque on the hips.

Makes sense if you think about it. Not sure if that’s the fix, but worth a try

probably is… makes scenes like you said. I tend to get lazy half way through 30 minute plus sessions, so it adds up over time.

For sure.
Look how sprinters use their upper extremities.
Arm swing helps move you forward and keeps your line straight, reducing stress or abnormal forces in your lower extremity.
Arm swing in a straight line ( not across your body) helps.
Chest up and chin parallel to the floor are good cues.
I’ve really tried to emphasis that with my walking ( hate to say that’s my conditioning) to reduce stress on my hip.
Good luck, and a little ROI is a great if you can get it.

Man that sucks. Can you dig your heels in and tell your boss to do one?

My supervisor is forced to be there also. This idea comes from higher up.

I feel for you. Unless you’re a key worker it sucks to be out!
