Bulldog: Working on regaining man card

I find it hard to believe sometimes that 40 to 50% for doubles will have a good training effect in bringing up your 1RM…I clearly don’t understand conjugate…yet at least. I’m guessing it has something to do with learning to recruit as much fast twitch fibers as you can?

Yeah I’ve never used bands so i don’t have a clue as to how much heavier they make the bar feel. The 40 to 50% is definitely deceptive to someone like me who’s never tried accommodating resistance

Depends on how you put them on. You can set 'em up so they give you just a little overload at the top or they can double the resistance experienced from the bottom to the top of the range of motion.

Based off a few charts and bathroom scale I had a estimate between 150 to 180 lbs at the top

I am finding that its true what I have read that it takes at least a year until one gets the hang of training in the conjugation style.
