Sup dog! I don’t post a ton but I always enjoy ur input and I started recently following your log. I’m from nj but I work out of a shop in Hammond, IN, quite frequently. I seem to recall that your in Indiana. Are u any where near there? There’s a place right by my shop called Iliana Powerhouse tiny little strongman/powerlifting gym. Don’t know what guys are doing there as far as big weights but sweet spot when I’m in town.

Nope… I am pretty much on the opposite side of the state. I live half way between Indianapolis and Cincinnati

To be honest… my anxiety issue has gotten fired up and it was making it impossible to focus at the job at hand. Plus i am starting to show signs of needing to deload. Establish these starting ME numbers are starting to wear on me.

Time for a deload or maybe even just simplify the training for a couple of weeks and focus only on moving some weight for some reps.
I see a lot of guys on here doing the conjugate style DE/ME training. And whilst it looks interesting for me it all looks too complicated. It seems like something that would be great done with a group at the gym as long as someone else did all the programming for me. lol
Maybe I’m just a bit simple but I think I would spend way too much time thinking about what to do rather than just working hard.

Yeah conjugate isn’t advisable for someone on their own who aren’t experienced. Part of my issue is focusing on establishing some numbers to work from on the ME movements . Unfortunately I’m not auto regulating as good as I should be.

This tells me you know what the problem is, the question now is what are you going to do to fix it. Make a simple plan and execute.

I’ll be done on this phase soon.after that things will smooth out.

Well I was under the weather Saturday and didnt do the upper back work I planned on. Need to man the hell up.

Well… Both the boys are working 2nd shit at a local food processing factory for the summer . Youngest is doing fine. OLDEST…is going to put me in a early grave due to no fault of his own. The wife is having a hard time adjusting to the fact hes now 21 and not a child. She went kind of off the deep end when she found out that hes been giving his girl friend the high hard one. Somehow its my fault for some reason. When I pointed out to her that hes 21 … you could feel a disturbance in the force. Her response " well, why the fuck dont you just go in his room and give him a chest bump!"

Ooooh that sounds like an uncomfortable place to be. Not sure there is a right way out of this predicament. I find silence is the best solution!!

Yeah I’m stuck in the middle. Especially when the wife and him get into it about this girl. Apparently this girl is desperate for us to like her according to my son. But God knows I’m not the one she has to worry about.
