My rheumatologist said Nyquil was probably what triggered my polymyositis.
Translation: Lupis like arthritis which destroys muscle tissue⦠no kidding.
Watching biceps shrink to 3 1/2" diameter and getting incredible quad wrinkles was disturbing; at remission I ate about 8 tons of tuna fish, and after about 2 yearsā resumed lifting, arms and quads returned along with fair percentage of former strength. Wonder where would Iād be now if I hadnāt had that crap at 48-51?
My mother had northern European condition called hemotocrosis; rheumatologist said that gave me genetic redisposition for contracting myositis.

Icing my right upper pec area because I pissed it off.
On another blog you wrote that you had/have high hemacrit (sic) levels and that youāve been diagnosed with some sort of sleep condition needing a CPAP machine. The aches and pains you have been writing about read a bit like the experiences a guy named Justin Harris, a personal trainer who was a bodybuilder until he got what I had. He kept working out through most of it until he got a final diagnosis. Might want to check out his experience.
