Strong session there sir. New Avi looks like someone just pissed you off before pic was taken.
How is the pups season going so far. Is he playing tailback?
I will probably pay for it. Hell that’s my happy face well pup was playing both ways. Half back and outside LB. Until the coach decided he wanted to cut back on his starters having to play ironman ball. So now hes only playing Linebacker.
" Never take diet advice from a fat guy" OK got it… BUT on the other hand would you really want to take advice from someone whose been lean their entire life? Wouldn’t it be smarter to take diet advice from someone that was formerly fat and got lean? Just a thought.
Great video of Doug Young and it’s great to see the Reinhoudt name(strongest powerlifter ever probably). Your points were right on. Absolutely right, better to take advice from the fatty who lost the weight and keeps it off.

Part of me is happy my lifts are coming back quickly… But one another it sucks that I lost so much time of zero progress for over a year.
Injuries are always factored in to lifetime progress though. You know what I mean. You can’t ever expect to go indefinitely without losing a year or two to injury. If any of the best of the best had ever stayed uninjured over their entire careers we’d have much higher records right now lol.

True… God knows I have had my share over the years. But then again im a old beat up bastard.
^^^ short bastard… not sure were his lack of height comes from
Elevated stiff legs: only worked up to 295 x 5…listen to what my body was telling me today. It was telling me to go Fuck myself. Side note when I was(MUCH) younger I mostly pulled this way which helped my regular deads get up to 6 at a much lighter BW then now.
Front squats: a few warm up sets then 220 x 5
250 x 5
280 x 5…still suck at these
I should add I did these off a box on a whim.
Bent Rows: 2 x 6 x 225/ 225 x 8… nice and explosive
sidebends ; 5 x 10 x sw
Im not going into allot of detail… if you want to know ask. But I decided to use a bastardize version of a deadlift approach. Which will allow me to pull heavy as hell but infrequent. Which looking over some old logs worked for me before I started over thinking my form.

Me too! And the format at the other spot sucks IMO.
yeah, Dave. As much as I hate to admit it the set up over here is superior then at the other spot.
Bench: 2 x bar
95
135
210
175
210
260 x 5
295 x 3
330 x 1… did 3 with several still in the tank
365 x 1… I stopped here Had a slight issue
2 x 5 x 260
Band pull aparts 5 x 20 between sets
Pulldowns: 5 x 10 x SW
Arm curls: skipped
Lying DB extensions: 3 x 12
I had a slight issue today both bicep tendons were irritated making it hard to bench. The reason for the the irritation is those damn front squats I really want to do. Heres the deal I have to use the criss cross version of them or the California version which they are also known, Due to shoulder tightness. The kicker is I cant get the bar to actually sit in the proper position being on my collar bone and front delt because my throat gets in the way. So during a set it ends up shifting forward and ends up ridding were the bicep tendon inserts into the shoulder. So looks like I might have to eat shit and drop the damn things.
If you get a front squat/zercher harness you’ll front squat with no irritation. I love the one I got from Westside(Louis Simmons site). I can front squat cross arm style with heavy weight but it slips sometimes and I hate that because it has strained my arms and shoulders. Using the proper hands back technique is too difficult for me due to old wrist injuries. Anyway my harness is great.
