I know what you mean. I’m lucky my kids aren’t in school run clubs. I forget how lucky until I get flashback to my own schoolbyears. Good luck…
The more i think about it… Im pretty much over the whole school sports thing.
So here’s my beef about high school sports. My son made varsity hockey as a freshman, I think it’s pretty damn cool to letter as a freshman. But my son pointed out that you’re now allowed to “letter” in prom. Sort of takes away from it all. Everybody’s a winner.

Actual I feel pressure… if I don’t use the knowledge of gained over the years to actuayl get him bigger and stronger then I failed some how.
Failure is not an option. Seek and destroy! We are our own harshest critics. I’m sure you have the tools and are sharing them with your son and hopefully he will use them and grow with them.
Well Dakota got 260 x 10 on deads tonight. To be honest everything’s going well except his cleans which are so so at this point due to form issues. So far at this point hes almost up 10lbs in body weight Hopefully by the start of next season I can at least get another 10 lbs on his frame.

Hope your Holiday was good…
Well I am off of my hiatus…did some squats today using a manta ray since the shoulder is still not 100% yet and some Band crunches.
6 more training weeks until Dakotas next Meet… Had him do some standing over head work and some extra shoulder and tricep work nothing major. I am kinda jazzed up because he should be able to put his body weight over head in a few months.
Pretty much for awhile, my main focus is going to be focusing on bring my upper back strength up…
Looking back over the past year… I’m ,pretty FUCKING pissed!! First part of last year I could taste a 1600 total. Then the bottom fell out. So now im on the slow path of healing up and rebuilding.
