Im more excited now that I can do a Meet with Dakota this summer and it not be a shit show.

That’s great news!
Interested to hear about your PT. My right shoulder has been fubared for almost a year and I have a hunch it’s overuse.

Might as well say mine is from overuse… more or less. Pretty much feel this is the end rusult of me not allowing it to fully recover when I tweaked back in the spring.

I got bored and made this…

That part of our PT?

Good news. Glad you’ll be back at it full force soon. We all hate going to the vet, but sometimes they really are just going to pull a thorn out of our paw.

Yep… In a 24 hour period with a shot of Cortisone along with 1600mg of ibuprofen and tons of ice and I can externally rotate my arm again.

Nice generations video and the music is great. How soon do you think you will be able to rotate your arm without the cortisone or ibuprofen and ice?

Thanks…

Dont know the answer to the question… I hope after I go through a month of Physical theropy that I should at least be 100% in 4 - 6 weeks. Or at least be in good enough form to start pressing again.

Ohh yippy start physical therapy on the left shoulder tomorrow…

Damn straight

Do you feel that… The rise of a ancient evil. I feel its foot steps threatening the well being of my oldest? Yep its coming soon that his FB coaches will be approaching him to be involved in the off season lifting program . With the unstated threat that failure to do so will impact his playing time next fall.

Ahh. You gotta love the politics of high school sports.

Can’t you just say “I can do better than that?”

I did that with my son’s fencing conditioning and with a little browbeating they accepted it.

Lord…I trained with a state champion in the 198 and 220’s but after freshman year I was forced to do power cleans (upright row/shrug hybrid more like) bench 3x per week and leave. I’m positive if their coaches had their ego in check they would love to have you at least hang around when the team trains and give input on form, maybe even write the program.

So much so I could just throw up

Sorta did… It was pretty sad, just before season started they tested all the players strength level on bench ,Squat and cleans . Dakota had the top numbers for his sophmore class beating out Lineman whom out weighed him by 70 lbs. Which made me cringe on top of that Ive seen the program they use… not impress.

I have no clue about how things up North are. But in are neck of the woods there is a little politics that goes on from time to time. If your a outstanding athlete it seems that things are overlooked if your not or just a average guys they have to kiss the coaches ass from time to time.

What? A High School Football coach keeping their ego in check??

Just for the record… I am lifting at the moment even with the shoulder being a little angry. Im squatting twice a week with a SSbar along with a few odds and ends that doesn’t involve my shoulders.

I know what you mean. I’m lucky my kids aren’t in school run clubs. I forget how lucky until I get flashback to my own schoolbyears. Good luck…

The more i think about it… Im pretty much over the whole school sports thing.
