Yep. You’re a dead man. Better get in the garage, right now, and enjoy the toys before you get dispatched.

Ill pass it along.

I don’t know what the deal is today. For some reason I feel like im walking around as if im stoned today. I cant seem to focus or concentrate its like some sorta mental fog.

Good CGB benching.

Nah just tell her it could have been that Fat Boy with the 115’ motor with the revtech 6spd and 250 rear tire, with the ape hangars and shotgun straight pipes ! LOL That is my dream atleast.

Your wife didn’t slip anything into your drink in response to your purchases, did she? lol

I think it is something with the weather. Jennifer and I have been that way a few days ourselves.

Unfortunately shes the smart one in this relationship. When I try anything sneaky I get caught. So ill just have to plant my feet and relax when she proceeds to implant the above mentioned items.

Did you eat those brownies I sent you?

Wierd, I actually felt like that first half of the week. I actually think it might have been an allergy thing.

Those Golds videos make me sad.

BP with a nice run, he’s going to be trucking people come high school.

Hey ! It wont let me link back into your old log but you can probably just answere me and save me the time anyway  When you got your son lifting was he strong enough for the 45lb bar or did you start him off with a lighter one?

Yes …Yes I did and they tasted great. I know I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth , but next time can you make sure that there are no seeds.

I’m glad im not the only one that had a weird day this week. Hell I was afraid I had a mini stroke. Well every thing seems to be working half way normal today upstairs. Which isn’t saying much in my case.

Those Videos actually makes me want to smash my monitor in. Oh well what can you do.
All chain gyms are dead to me .

To be honest , If DP can gain around 50lbs plus of meat on his frame and increase his strength lets say by a 150 % in the next 4 years. Then things might be interesting for him his SR. year .

Well he was strong enough to use a 45. But I was able to borrow a light Olympic bar from the Damutt ( which I need to get back to him). So I went ahead and used the lighter bar on some of his upper movements at least for his warm up sets. Now if your planning on starting one of your kids lifting I would suggest going that route. In my opinion its better to focus on the form and developing the movement pattern. Once the movement becomes second nature to them the weight will come in no time.

9/3/11

Warm up : light Db movements

Bench : bar x 20
95 x 10
150 x 5
190 x 5
225 x 3
285 x 5
320 x 3
360 x 1…went up easy but I wasn’t going to play it stupid and try for more.

Illegal width grip bench: 2 x 6 x 275

Dead bench: 330 x 0
300 X 1…Had a sharp pain in left shoulder, said hell no

Bar front raises : 3 x 4 x 65

Hammer curls : 3 x 5 x 55

Band pull aparts : 2 x 20

Well im paying for not sticking with the game plan. The heavy CG work from Wednesday pretty much had a negative impact on today. Oh well, Luckily next week will be a deload.

dont worry I am holding your Elitefts 4 part seminar as collateral

^^ gotcha

Gotta get off my ass and do some rolling with the PVC pipe along with some mobility work for the lower extremities. Have a heavy squat/pull day on the docket tomorrow.
Less then 8 weeks to go until D-day. Still not expecting allot out of this Meet. Which is fine with me. Squats should be alright while bench might be kind of interesting. Deads on the other hand I have no expectations at all. What ever I get I get. In retrospect,I can honestly say I haven’t been putting that much effort into them as I should.

I’m glad that you are taking a more reserved approach to the meet. I am one of those folks who would be stressed into hospitalization over something like that. While there obviously needs to be a fire in your gut, no need in stressing yourself into failure.

Nice work, btw…even with the CGB hangover.
