Bulldog and Bullpup Log Part 2

^^^ The horror continued Tuesday night. Oh, the carnage. Is there anyone to stand up to the rage that is The Rabid Bullpup. Oh the humanity.

Be honest. You’re getting a massive charge out of this!

And Your kid is a monster. Tell him it’s his duty as the school’s inevitable “big kid” to look out for the bullied.

have him start experimenting when hes out there. use these matches as a training tool and stop destroying everyone

Manta Ray? Why do you need that for narrow-stance pause squats?

hang in their dog, get some rest and try not to let the pup get the drop on you.

  • Yes and no. I’m pretty use to him winning , Ill get a huge charge if he can finally win his weight class at the huge multi school tournament at the end of the year.

I actually get more excited about his little brother. Hes only won two so far ,but those two wins was more exciting to me then his big brothers who is leaving a path of braised ego’s in his wake.

  • Ill tell you what…I hope that Ive reised him good enought that he would do the right thing and stand up and do whats right.

You think he actually listens to me when hes on the Mat? We like to get him more interested in doing more of the ISWA tournaments, So that he can get more mat time . Unfortunately hes not to hot on the idea, He doesn’t want to do the state championships which he qualified for last Sunday after winning his class. Oh well, cant force him to do it since it is all him.

Makes allot harder little lady. Since I squat low bar, using the Manta ray raises the bar several inches. Which really forces me to stay tight.

Well Joe , I’m feeling pretty good today. Getting ready to Bench today hopefully it wont be to bad.

Kind of funny about the pup getting the drop on me. Every once in awhile he tries to see what the old man has…

3/1/12

Bench bar x 20
95 x 10
135 x 5,5
180 x 5
220 x 4
260 x 3…Alright after this set I had a cold sweat going

Disclaimer: As I’ve stated before this if for fun. This is nothing more than a way to actual express my views on training that I’ve picked up over the years. Like with most things on line take it with a grain of salt.

Random Thoughts

This week I’m just going to throughout some random thoughts. II will go more in detail in coming editions.

I don’t think Power lifters worry enough about hypertrophy.

Bodybuilders don’t worry enough about actual strength.

I think board pressing are crap for training raw benching

Steroids, I don’t really care as long as I don’t have to compete with someone that is using.

Westside isn’t the only way to get strong
.
Use of % based training for beginners is not needed and counterproductive.

I really dislike Brooks Kubik

K.I.S.S …Keep It Simple Stupid

Genetics do matter to reach legendary status. But it’s not a excuse for not setting reasonable
goals and not achieving them.

Training Raw and equipped are two different animals.

Drug free guys can’t train like there drug using counterparts.

Unfortunately direct bicep work is necessary for certain individuals.

I can’t relate to the current state of Bodybuilding.

The current state of Power lifting is a cluster fuck

I feel power bodybuilding is a good approach.

The only different between a average Personal Trainer and a coma patient is the personal
trainner can walk and talk

To get a bigger Bench, squat and dead…Bench, Squat and Dead!!

You can’t get ripped and huge at the same time, unless…

I HATE!! Stauart McRoberts.

Raw vs. Gear debate is ignorant as hell.

Can’t we all just get along?

I’ve never seen people act the way they do online, at a Meet.

When in doubt just S.F.W

I’m bored of ATG squat threads.

How you train should not be dictated by a cult mindset.

Eat more to get big

How much body fat is necessary for strength and size gains?

A six pack isnt a true measure of a man or women.

Cross fit is starting to annoy me

When did most male gym members lose their testicles?

Thats it. Ok I didn’t put allot of effort in this weeks edition. Just haven’t had time and just haven’t had the energy to do it.

I knew there was a reason I like you.

I’ll buy that. I’ll accept my genetics came from the dumpster, but if I can bench 300, squat 400 and DL 500, I’ll be thrilled beyond belief. It only requires twice my current strength.

Preach it, brother!!!

Haven’t heard much about the younger Bullpup. How much training has he done? Just wrestling or any other sport?

On the subject of bruised ego . . . you’re looking at the ultimate bruised ego. Damn near EVERYBODY in school beat me . . . and it wasn’t a special school. You cannot tolerate really struggling and pushing and working hard - and STILL you come out behind anyway.

Ive mentioned the youngest every once in awhile. Back on page 33 I posted a video of his first wrestling win.

I can’t believe im not over this bug YET!!! Feeling weak as a newborn right now , Ive dropped several pounds since this crap started showing it self late last week. I didnt feel bad this morning, even ran and got breakfast with the wife. Afterwords I started to go down hill. Ive ended up napping three hours today.

I’ve done the same thing to myself countless times. Will we ever learn? I hope not.

I think the lack of common sense is due to one to many blown capillaries in the brain. Due to heavy lifting.
