Jealous :frowning:

Son of a bitch!!! God Damn New England won. BASTARDS get a chance for the championship in are freaking house.

Snap is right on the money, dogg. You are strong like bull. But as with all things, the higher we move up any ladder of achievement, we just become more aware of who is above us. So even though you’re an extremely powerful guy, I can totally understand how you feel.

But, for just a moment, take a breath and enjoy the monstrousness of your lifts. Take a little pride in it. But keep pushing for better.

Thanks. I was just going for the called for reps. On this phase its suggested to leave one or two in the tank on the last set.
Wendler suggests leaving on in the tank but I’m horseshit at it.
Don’t feel bad. I still haven’t mastered the concept 100% . But ,I’m getting there.

Honestly, Seeing guys whom are stronger then myself motivates like no bodies business. The thing is more then anything is that I feel like a outcast when I go to the local YMCA. IM not running on a Treadmill there. I’m not some young stud who is doing cable curls while staring longingly at myself in front of a mirror. Not that I care but damn its kinda of depression to be there and there not be any kindred spirits around. If it wasn’t for this forum Id be a lonely doggie.

Have to agree on the stronger peeps motivating. Thats the biggest reason I come on here, (allthough you guys and gals are all real nice and friendly too), you guys are all very inspirational on here.

1/23/11

Intensification phase 5’s wave

warm up : foam roller
super set: Band GM’s/standing ab crunches 3 x 10

Deadlift: 135 x 5
225 x 3

      310 x 2
      345 x 2
365 x5x5x5x8......Honestly physical I could have done more but my head just wouldn't get in the zone. On top of that my right knee is feeling kinda sore.

Speed deads : 6 x 1 x 285

Rows: 200 x 3 / 225 x 3/ 250 x 6

Shrugs: 3 x 15 x 345…At least my grip wasn’t shit like last week

Back extensions: 3 x 20

Roman chair sit ups: 3 x 10 x 10lbs

Well id say this session sucked monkey junk.

Amen. If it wasn’t for seeing stronger guys be it on T nation or top flight lifters on U Tube or training logs on Elitefts. I would probably become too complacent with my current strength level.

Bullpups wrestling season official starts tomorrow!!!

Hey, we all have workouts that feel crappy, important thing is you were putting in work. That post is a perfect example of inspirational though. Workouts like that are whst I aspire to.

Hi, Dog, I finally got internet again. LOVED the dog on treadmill vid.

Good grief, are you having another depression attack? Just read my log and you’ll feel much better.

Well…Look who’s back.

A good start.

You can thank AT&T for keeping me incommunicado for the past few weeks. Anyway, I see you’re still belting out some decent weights. Good luck with the treadmill, should help the conditioning.

Good God, Bullpup is just frightening. Those traps are something else.

Bullpup’s opponent was like the proverbial sacrificial lamb, actually felt bad for the kid watching that.

What weight class is the Pup in? What was his record last year?

Nope, I’m happy as a fly on a pile of poop. But my patients for all the ignorance and lack of manliness in weight room is really working my patients.

Seriously that pic from this summer doesn’t do the little freak justice. Neither does the video. I was looking at him last night and comparing him to the others on the team. I started asking myself do I really want to beef this kid up?

Keep up the great work! I have been supplementing my training with cardio on the treadmill also and it is so boring, but when I am finished it feels good.

Trust me, I had a couple of people make comment on it. He definitely went threw the kid like a buzz saw even if he did screw up the movie he was doing. Hes got this thing going that he wants to have the fastest pins then anyone else on the team in any given Meet. … arrogant little cuss.

Right now hes hovering at 125.9lbs. So they got him doing the 130lbs class. Last year he was wrestling at 105. Last year he was all about staying at a lower weight class this year he just wants to eat and not mess with worrying about trying to maintain a body weight.

Last year he ended up 14-3. One kid beat him twice with the same move. Of all things a freaking head lock. Another on points, whom he ended up beating later on in the season.

First off welcome to my log of insanity

Oh yes its boring as hell. Right now its a necessary evil. I will say im noticing that it helping me with recovering from my weight training.
