What’s this?

Your son’s going on a date? What does that mean? I ask because my 13-year-old son likes a girl but is not sure what to do about it. I suggested he needed a “plan” if he was going to ask her out. And this is only the beginning . . .

Went thru that this summer. My guy wanted to ask a girl out via text, had to convince him to use the phone and after this girl called and texted him for a month she turned him down. Life lesson there.

First off Happy birthday to your boy. Yep it wont be long now. Sorta makes you wish for the days when your son thought girls where yuk.

Solid work. The 10’s are painful to do (your point about cardio was spot on) but they provide a nice break.

Its definitely a break from actually using anything the the max effort range. Definitely user on the joints. Of course the limiting factor is my lack of cardiovascular capacity at this point. Unfortunately Monday will be squats . Which wouldn’t be bad if the current bug im fighting didnt have me so freaking congested. Ive got a feeling that Ill be sucking air .

Well in this case the “date” was my wife dropping him off at the theater and him paying for his girlfriend. Apparently, he has asked my wife if it would be alright to ask her to Thanksgiving dinner down at my father in laws. OH My…

Like yourself Mama and me have been giving him advice what he should and shouldn’t do .

Pretty much so. If i understand it right, the whole purpose of them is avoid the stretch reflex. So when you do them your not getting the benefit of any stored energy in your tendons.

Lots of nice work going on. Seem to be kicking some high rep ass!

DUDE!

Well, your sick-as-a-bulldog lifts still impress. By the way, did your lat pull heal up after the meet?

Well Kent ,it luckily only took about 3 weeks for the Lat pull to completely clear up. Right now , my left shoulder is giving me fits along with fighting this freaking bug that seems to have taken a liking towards me.
