Bulking to cutting advise

Hi First time post. I’ve read a lot of other posts but figured I’d get your opinions on the best stack/s for me.

I’m 42 have done 2 cycles in the last 2 years
1st Deca anavar and test 2nd Primo mastron test these were recommended by a buddy.

2 weeks ago I did a dexa scan and I was 211 lbs and 11.7% body fat. I work out with a personal trainer for body building 6 days a weeks currently eating 3500-4000 calories a day mostly clean 230 grams of protein minimum

I want to bulk for a about 6 weeks then start cutting for summer

I was thinking of doing dbol deca and test for those 6 weeks then switching to primo mastron for my cut i would like to be more shredded without loosing to much size

Deca is a longer compound. In six weeks you just have reached full blood saturation.
Going from bulk straight to cut is not ideal.

Yup agreed. Deca / Nandrolone D you should run 12+ weeks IMO. Even if you used the shorter ester NPP, a bulk to cut in short order isn’t count to yield you much. You need time to build “real muscle tissue” not just water/glycogen/inflammation. Then you need to let it marinate awhile to gain that “muscle memory” effect. That takes time.

You look great. I don’t think you need to truly bulk or cut. Just eat a very small surplus, cleanly, and take a moderate growth stack. Gain lean tissue slowly at your current BF.

You didn’t mention quantities, but that is okay. I know a fair amount about the AAS you are taking the first six weeks. They would provide the size and strength as well as most any other choices.

But I have absolutely no experience with Masteron or Primobolin, so I have no idea if that switch will accomplish your desired outcome.

My main thought is that you are far too concerned about being lean. You don’t have many years left to put on significant muscle. You most likely have the propensity to being lean. Drift up a couple percent body fat and try to get stronger every week on compound exercises.

Thanks for the fast reply I was thinking the same thing about deca being slow but more on the back side than the front side. So coming out wouldn’t be a big deal. But I wasn’t think about it picking in later.

So how long for a light bulk?
3500 4000 is about 500-1000 surplus.

I definitely have the propensity to be fat I’m only lean because ive been working really hard in the gym and at eating right.

All the hard work is for the look so being lean and large is the my goal. Id like to be about 9%ish

Let the mirror be your metric. The mirror is what caused you to take the effort to get lean. I made all of my diet adjustments based on what the feedback of the mirror showed me.

This is where my comment that you over value lean, and because you do, you hinder building muscle capability.

I’ve been on a structured gaining program for 14 weeks. I personally think that I gaining phase should not go past 12 to 15% fat at most.

Your blood panels and cardiac function will also give you guidance as rhr amongst other markers almost always increases as you gain scale weight.

In 14 weeks how bf % have you gained? What kind of a calorie surplus did you use? As far as macros ive just worried about protein and carbs for my workouts do you focus on all the macros?

Ive done blood panels had dr review before and at the end of a cycle everything is was good except my test was to high.

What cardiac function can/should I test?

On my doesaged
I was thinking 50mg dbol daily
375 test E
375 deca
Then
Primo 100 eod
Mastron 100 eod
Sus 125 eod

The primo mastron stack I did at 3x per week but eod will just bump it up a little and simplify the timing

This is all gear I already have have anavar on hand too.

These days everyone takes far more Dianabol than I did. But orals, in particular Dianabol, have a characteristic that I could count on feeling stronger the 10th day after I took the first pill.

IMO, you should focus on getting stronger every week. More than anything it is time for you to get more muscle.

It was my routine to allow my body fat to slowly rise up to 15% and then cut to the mid-5% in a contest 12 weeks later.

I wouldn’t go over 500calories more than maintenance personally. If 3000 is maintenance, try 3300 / lower carb on light train or no train days and 3500 with higher carb on tough training days like legs. Bulk for 12 weeks then reassess maintenance levels.

First you should know that all the Dianabol I used was pharmaceutical grade.

The highest dosage I ever used was 20mg/day (but I felt assured that it was actually 5mg per tablet.) I spread out the intake throughout the day to help “flatten the curve” of half-life.

The thought today is that orals are so harmful to the liver that users should limit the length of time that orals are taken. I was not aware of the “extreme” risk of orals, and used them the entire time I was “on cycle” every cycle I ever did. I cycled AAS for three decades. Ever since I have been getting blood tests that show slightly high liver function results. I am 76 years old now. I did my last cycle when I was 48 years old.

I’ve gone from 9 percent to just 10.5% with a +17 on the scale
My average calories in week 1 were about 2700. We have pushed that daily average to 3750, with carbs as high as 1000 on my highest day.

I’m not using any form of insulin to manage bg levels.

Mt rhr hr creeped up a bit, so I’m always keeping an eye on that as well as blood pressure. I’m getting full blood work every 8 weeks.

Hrv is also down slightly but getting better.

It’s the 17 pounds causing all of my systems to work a little harder. Daily fasted cardio has helped all of the above.
