Actually I think it was Steely D who said hamburgers were delicious.
But yea - whoever said it, they are delicious.
Mmmmmmmm…burgers…
I wanna get one (or three) of those Mcdonald’s angus burgers…
McDonald’s is not a burger. I’d barely even call it meat.
Fuck off! While not my first choice of burger, a couple Double QP’s saved my ass this week while I was hanging out in the hospital with my brand new baby. Fuck hospital food.
I gained 10lbs in the last week. Let’s see where that statement takes this thread.
After spending a week snorkeling/fishing and not eating my typical fare, I dropped from 260 down to 248 and then here I am 7 weeks later at 270…that’s ten pounds over my previous lifetime high

I gotta hit up Publix later today and will weight myself then. Hopefully I’ll be at 163 or higher. In mean time I thought I’d let you know you can edit the title of your thread pretty easily by pressing the Edit button.
yeah posting from an iphone leaves a lot to be desired on the formatting front…bulking up to 164 eh?

Lol…actually I was riffing on the “Brotherhood of Iron” thread.

I thought you were cutting? Then again, I’ve been out of it for a while. On that note, I too gained ~10 lbs the past week, but it’s muscle memory. I’d gone to India for 6 weeks and lost 10 pounds there. The first day back in the gym was very humbling…
I decided to hold my weight when I hit 270…then I moved from an apartment to a house which is probably a lot like what having a baby is like as far as paper work…only worse. I lost weight down to 263lbs by last Thursday a week ago…mostly muscle as my strength dropped too. I missed at least 4 days from the gym which for anyone who knows me means some serious shit was going on.
After moving in, the last week of eating everything I can to get my strength back left me at 275lbs this morning after breakfast.
The strange thing is…I think I lost a little body fat and I look way more filled out…from pizzas.
I call it the move all your shit with Pizza Hut daily diet. Apparently carrying really heavy shit and filling out paper work leads to muscle gains if copious amounts of hand tossed baked slices and chicken wings are tossed in.
Congratulations on the house. I need to work on that too… Though in SoCal, it’s hard to find something affordable…

I’m bulking up to around 200, 163 is just a point in my journey, its hardly the end goal. I started at 143 lb mostly fat.
I too am 163, height is 5’9. Considering I was 125 in high school and a skinny fat 136 when I stopped drinking (recovering alcoholic) I’m proud of my progress. Plan is to keep gaining until I’m 180-185 and see how I feel. Maybe drop a little fat, maybe keep going.
I’ve seen guys on here that look good (in my opinion, not the eyes of a body building judge) at 175 without dropping water.
In 6 months i went from 158-176 (first 2 months only 158-165), 5’10" I am shooting for 185 right now. Past 4 months went 165-176 bench went up 40lbs, deadlift went up 85lbs and squat went up 100lbs. I wanna hit 195-200 by the end of the year, just taking baby steps.
My weight gain is teetering =(. its taken me 3 1/2 weeks to go from 245 to 250 =(. This slow gain leads me to believe that the majority of it was muscle, but still, my planned comp isnt til march, so i still got plenty of time to gain!
