Um no mention of bf levels in that post.

References fat levels in joints…no correspondence cited.

Good try tho.
Right. Because you think there would be studies done specifically on contest ready bodybuilders? They would be the only ones getting lean enough to see this…which is why taking it that far as PERSONAL EXPERIENCE relies on subjective reports…which I also provided.
Well you were CALLING for studies specific to bodybuilding…only seems fair you provide the same for your broscience theories.
Bro, he’s a DDS. Just trust him.
This is all you have to offer.

That’s sad, kid.

After this many months of this…this is all you have.

Seriously…that’s not a good thing, dude.
This is all you’ve offered for 11 years:

Reminds people constantly he’s a doctor.

Brags constantly about his education.

Asks people if they need him to repeat what he just wrote.

Asks people if he needs to write it out in crayon.

Asks people who argue with him in multiple threads if they’re gay.

Asks people if English is their first language.

Constantly tries to convince everyone to accept the inflated image he has of himself.

Is constantly sarcastic and condescending.

I hope what you just wrote doesn’t make sense to even you.
Thank you for that. I have “doctor” in front of my name but there is always basic shit about biology that I missed. I shall credit that for my weight gain.

That’s sad, mister.

Seriously…that’s not a good thing, dude.

Explain how that is different from your broscience theory that fat helps leverages and lubes joints.
Broscience? I went to school for this…
You went to school to learn how to bulk? MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

The paper you posted had NO INFORMATION relating to bodyfat levels and joint lubrication.

Damn you are one obtuse fella.
Fat as a lubricant to joints is COMMON KNOWLEDGE in the medical community.
Then it should not be hard to find a study where bodyfat levels correlate with joint lubrication.

Right?

Showing that synovial fluid:
The clear, viscous fluid secreted by the SYNOVIAL MEMBRANE. It contains mucin, albumin, fat, and mineral salts and serves to lubricate joints.

Fat is the main ingredient.

I heard Dorian Yates used to get so lean that it hurt to walk or even stand, because his body had burned the minimal fat deposits on the bottoms of his feet so he had no cushion…

Best Investment.

Not just that but I have heard of guys who get severe pain from doing simple moves like ab crunches because of no fat in areas during contest prep.

It used to be common knowledge…but I guess the internet changed that.

Fat people never have joint pain.

Fact.

So that study showed a correlation between bodyfat levels and amount or texture of joint lubricating fluid?

Oh wait it didn’t?

Huh.

FAT PEOPLE HAVE NO JOINT PAIN.

/and better leverages

Could you show support of this…because you seem to be the only person making this statement.

Synovial fluid: Largely derived by filtration of blood flowing through the capillaries in the synovial membrane, it obtains its consistency due to hyaluronic acid secreted by the cells in the synovial membrane. (A&P 9th Marieb)

There may be some free fatty acids in it due there being some in the blood but by no means is it the main ingredient.

Guys have fun fucking up another thread.

Catch y’all later.

May be some free fatty acids? That quote was taken directly from the study up to the “main ingredient part”…

No need, I’m a “doctor.” Take my word for it.

First it’s a fact and now it’s common knowledge?
lol
Denying that being overweight puts someone at risk for heart disease is idiotic.
I don’t have time to look up “studies” but here are a few website links:
Inb4 some lame excuse about how these aren’t valid sites.

5th risk factor listed

9th risk factor listed
http://www.health.com/health/m/condition-article/0,,20188499,00.html

7th risk factor listed
http://www.world-heart-federation.org/press/fact-sheets/cardiovascular-disease-risk-factors/

8th major risk factor listed

5th risk factor listed (this one is for the ladies)
http://womenshealth.gov/heart-health-stroke/heart-disease-risk-factors/heart-disease-risk-factors-you-can-control.cfm

5th risk factor listed that can be controlled

5th risk factor listed

1st controllable risk factor (another one for women)

10th risk factor listed
http://www.healtheast.org/heart-care/heart-disease-risk-factors.html

5th risk factor listed
http://www.kdheks.gov/cardio/risk.htm

9th paragraph about risk factors

Ok so can we at least agree that being overweight is a risk factor for heart disease?
Or is that still not a fact or common knowledge?

X I read the page. No where in it does it suggest that fat is the main ingredient. Infact in the same page they use hyaluronic acid in treatments and agrees with the my A&P text book that being the main component in synolvial fluid apart from the liquid blood component.

“A therapeutic treatment typically involving INTRA-ARTICULAR INJECTIONS of HYALURONIC ACID and related compounds. The procedure is commonly used in the treatment of OSTEOARTHRITIS with the therapeutic goal to restore the viscoelasticity of SYNOVIAL FLUID, decrease pain, improve mobility and restore the natural protective functions of hyaluronan in the joint.”
