Bulking Cycle Stack

I’m coming off of a three month cutting cycle where I went from ~16% BF to ~10%. I’m going to embark on a bulking cycle and would like to minimize the BF gain. Eating with be clean and I’ve dailed it in before during bulking cycles.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Weeks 1 & 2

Mag-10 standard dose combined with 4-AD-EC standard dose. P/C/F will be similar to as outlined in the Mag-10 instructions.

Weeks 3 & 4

Alpha-Male, M and Red Bands in the recommeded standard dosage. Eat clean but reduce total Kcals and trade some C for P.

Repeat four week cycle three times for a total of twelve weeks.

Any thoughts? I’ve used Mag-10, Tribex, M and Red Bands previously with good results, but I’ve never stacked a cycle this way before. I thought someone had mentioned very good results stacking Mag-10 and 4-AD-EC.

T-bone, more is not better. Do not combine Mag-10 with 4-AD-EC. There is 4-AD-EC IN Mag-10.

Make sure you allow your body to stabilize at your new maintenance level for one month before starting a bulking cycle. If you go immediately from cutting to bulking, you’re more likely to experience an unacceptable ratio of fat-to-muscle gain.

Having looked at the active ingredients in 4-AD-EC, I see your point.

Also, thanks for the pointer on stabalization. I’ve been on maintenance for all of July and am ready to move back to the bulking cycle.

Your pointers are appreciated, as always.

Additional thoughts on your bulking cycle (“ON”) and your recuperative/maintenance cycle (“OFF”).

Protein ON = 1.5g to 2g x LBM
Protein OFF = 1.5g x LBM

Carbs ON = 2g to 3g x LBM. Use 2g if the goal is to put on a little muscle and drop a little fat. Use 3g if the goal is to BULK!
Carbs OFF = 1.5g x LBM

Carb Type ON = a higher percentage of low/no-fiber, starchy carbs
Carb Type OFF = a higher percentage of green veggie carbs, saving the few starchy carbs you do take in for PWO.

Fat ON = as low as possible; just make sure you get your fish oil (6-10g of EPA/DHA) and a tablespoon or so of olive oil
Fat OFF = .4 to .5g x LBM

A little more food for thought while you’re planning your cycle. (grin)

Once again I agree with most of what TT has suggested with the exception of one point.

I would not say you should totally avoid stacking Mag-10 and 4-AD-EC.

It is of course dependent on your experience with such compounds and other individual factors.

That said, using a regular does of Mag-10 combined with a regular dose of the 4-AD-EC wopuld be much the same as double dosing the Mag-10, which has been suggested by several of the coaches on the site, CT to name one.

There would be several differences in the results most likely however. One good thing would be the ability to strech out your Mag-10 with a compound still available.

Other points to think about are. Mag-10 is pretty much a combination of highly bioavailable 4AD and 1-Test. With 4AD being best known for its mass building quality and being a very wet hormone (you get some water bloat), and 1-Test being known as a dry compound and better for strenght gains as opposed to mass. That is what make Mag-10 so freaking awesome.

So, By dosing with the Mag-10 and 4AD-EC, as opposed to double dosing Mag-10 you would in turn lend the cycle more toward pure size gains and not as much toward strength. Also you may get a bit more water weight.

This is all in theory of cours, and will differ for each individual. I have though, been giving such a cycle a thought.

All that spewed out, I will once again go back to the begining and back to your experience with such compounds, and TT’s very solid voicing that “more is not always better.” You can get some awesome gains from a single dosing of Mag-10 itself. I would 4 sure give it a go as is if this is your first cycle with Mag-10 to see what it does for YOU.

Very concise. I essentially have all of that information on my bulletin board, as I’ve copied this from some of your previous threads. I followed, for the most part, your “Carb Type OFF” during my recent cutting phase and it was very effective. Someone should cut and paste your post above into a T-Nation FAQ.

After overlooking my post there is one area I do think I need to stress a bit more. That of being cautious/safe. While I feel it would be an interesting stack and safe, that is not to say everyone should just go out and do it.

As with anything else we all need to be cautious when taking any supp. or with anything for that matter and listen to your body. What is great for one may not be for you, or even worse may be detrimental to your health.

For example. I may put something as simlple as a handfull of peanuts in a shake and do just fine. Someone else may try this and drop freaking dead.

Or, like my recent experience with M1T. Many people have and are still reporting good results with it. I my self would not take it again or suggest it to anyone. It was pure poison in my opinion. But that is how it effected ME, and I had to listen to my body and know when something wasnt good.

Well thats it for this little rant. I just thought I should add that. It is a damn scary thought to me, but just maybe someone out there actuallt reads my post/advice. AAHHHHH.

Hope that clears some things up. We all need to be hard core yes, but dont forget caution and above all your health.
