What’s this? Drama? [/quote]

Incidentally, I have no idea what he’s talking about.

Perhaps at some point I made fun of T-Nation or a contributor or something on another board, and thus jimmylegs felt it necessary to post my pictures? Who knows.

Ok, so truth is stranger than fiction.

Lame

wrong thread!

Come on guy - Leave…now.

We need an “early warning system” against posts like this because it’s getting out of hand.

Seriously, this kind of shit will bring the website down.

Oh yeah, maybe you should go cut and put on a pink shirt.

lol. Yep. It won’t leave a bruise and it’ll let’m know who’s boss. There’s no doubt about it.

I hate that body potential calculator. Apparently my maximum is 205 pounds. The stupidest thing is my max thigh size is 26.5 inches and max bicep 16 inches…I doubt that very very much.

Blowdpanis: You are now Mr August, everyone must refer to you as Mr August and you must refer to yourself as Mr August. The fact that Jimmylegs (shock horror) downloaded the photo in no way overshadows your crime.

Jimmy: Well trolled my friend, this was a fucking awesome thread.

Wait so Jimmy was trolling as a way to defend T-Nation?

Wtf?

Hahaha what a thread. Unbelieveable.

Well good job then jimmy.

The dude REALLY did gain less than 1/12 of a lb a month for 5 years…like it really happened, he really admitted it. 4 lbs a year…

unbefuckinlievable

That’s how much LBM I gained on average, I guess, over that period of time. Not just ‘weight.’ If we’re talking ‘weight gain,’ I gained ~30+ lbs in that time, which would mean ~2/3s of my total bodyweight gain would have been muscle.

Given that I’m not a bodybuilder (my interests are strength/powerlifting), what am I supposed to look like? The most recent pictures show 16" accurately measured cold and flexed arms at low bodyfat on somebody with a frame that has 6" wrists and 8.5" ankles. Note that I don’t even directly train my arms for the most part at this point, very heavy weighted chins (in the order of multiple reps in clean form with > 100 lbs around my waist) took care of a lot of that.

Different people have different goals. Pretty ignorant to expect everybody to look like bodybuilders.

edit: oh yah, and to be fair, that was my progress in 4 years, not 5 (2002 - 2006, see above).

So you aquired a picture of a naked man off another website and post it on here to troll T-Nation with?
what kind of pathetic waste of space are you?

40 odd pounds of lean mass for a skinny bastard is pretty reasonable.

Jesus Christ, that is friggin’ funny! LMMFAO!

This is one of the oddest threads I’ve ever read.

Question for Blow:
So the original naked post, at the other site, was intended to prove that the calculator is accurate? Or inaccurate?

Either way, I’m trying to wrap my head around the logic of “this naked picture of me will drive the point home.”

Basically gay humor. Somebody asked for a shot of my wheels, I half jokingly posted those half-nude pics as a visual assault on them and as psychological warfare to make them gay.

Even in the original pic, there’s no nudity. I just added the fig leaf to drive the point home. I mean, really, it’s not an actual wang shot, I don’t give a fuck about embarrassing myself (within reason) for a good joke.

But the thread itself wasn’t unserious. We were seriously discussing the muscular potential of a natural (this is very important) trainee in the context of low bodyfat. Because it does vary by your wrist/ankle measurements, thus your frame certainly implies something about how much lean mass you are capable of gaining.

In my own case, I plugged in my stats (6" wrists, 8.5" ankles) at 5’9", and that calculator turned out some pretty humble measurements. In fact, I’m pretty close to them (over for some like upper arm) already.

On the one hand, it’s easy to dismiss it as nonsense. But it seems to, for example, predict the maximum lean muscular size of the golden era (pre-steroids) bodybuilders rather well.

Regardless, I don’t see the offense in posting a random gay picture like that in the context it was given. Posting it as a thread starter on a major bodybuilding site? That’s pretty over the top, and I’d obviously never do something like that.

Due to the true (strange) nature of this thread, I have moved it to Off Topic.

Maybe I’m just too straight for gay humor, but how if posting a pic of you doing the Adam pose funny? How is showing straight guys [assumed from the quote “make them gay”] quasi-gay pics funny? I’m completely unable to find the funny here? [thou the rest of the thread was a gas].

Jimmylegs, you are one of the more spectacular and bizarre trolls I’ve seen on T-Nation, cudos to you.

I don’t really understand what’s going on. But people surpass their supposed genetic potential that those calculators give all the time. Naturally.

I think you should create a gay and lesbian page just for this thread!

I find gay humor funny (and I don’t think I’m quite alone in this). At the end of the day, I have sex with vaginas, so I’m pretty sure I check out okay.
